Gloria, launched in March 2017, is a 35-seat jewel box restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, founded by Sommelier Phil Johnson and Managing Partner Leland Meibeyer.

Designed by Method Design and KGM Architectural Lighting, Gloria’s renovated interiors create a warm and elegant atmosphere. The dining room, with 35 seats and an additional eight at the bar, features bright blue leatherette banquettes, oxidized maple tables, gold-flecked burlap wall trim, and custom geometric lucite light fixtures. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows flood the space with natural light, offering a cozy view of West 53rd Street.

Phil Johnson, Gloria’s sommelier and co-founder, brings 14 years of New York City hospitality experience, having worked at esteemed venues like Contra Restaurant, Aldo Sohm Wine Bar, Dovetail, and Jean-Georges.
