Cheap quality for big money
Spent $4,500 on an engagement ring that had a socket twist up and out of place after only 3 months of wear. Extremely disappointed in a company that has such (unwarranted) good reviews. Take your money elsewhere!!!!! It's not worth the disappointment of poor quality or the cost they'll charge you to fix their mistake.

Needs more sizing options
Blue Nile is great, prices are fair, just tough for sizing. When you order a ring, knowing it will not fit, it is frustrating. I ordered my wedding band (groom), and had went to multiple box stores to try on rings. I knew I was a 8.25 ring size. Blue Nile does not carry quarter sizes, so it is difficult to know you are ordering something that needs to be resized. Additionally, the style I selected was indicated as a ring that could not be resized by Blue Nile. I did call and ask for a potential solution, but there was no clear solution. Still a good experience, but I do now need to pay to have my ring resized, which can be frustrating.

Smily emeralds.
I had a great experience with Blue Nile. The shipping was incredibly fast—I received my ring within just 2 days of ordering.The ring looks exactly like it did in the pictures, which is always a relief when buying jewelry online. The emeralds are absolutely beautiful and truly make me smile every time I look at them.
