Bad customer service. Greedy company. If you guess the wrong size for a gift forget exchanging it.I will never buy from them again.

I received a shirt and it was too big. Tried to call for a return, there is no telephone number; emailed and was told to return shirt for exchange and I did. I shipped from post office at my own cost of $8.85. They claim they never received. Post office shows it as delivered. Now I’m out over $50 because someone from Boston Scally says package was not received. I will never order from them again. If you’re unsure about a size, don’t order from them!

I had a great experience. Hats shipped quick. Great quality but they were too big. I sought an exchange of all three. Was sent a return label at no cost and had my replacements within a few days just as their site guaranteed. I would purchase from them again.

Absolutely love the Hats!!!! Price good size good customer service destroys the experience and the company. I have ordered from Boston Scally direct no 3rd party many times a few shipping issues but arrived. Well this time was unfortunately the last time I can purchase from them purchased 4 hats in this order one being a special with bag and coin was 200.00 bucks plus and was marked as preparing for shipping now mind u paid for 2 day shipping which really takes 4 due to processing but hey things go wrong contacted because 5 days later still says preparing for shipping now this is all on there web site and on there web site says to be delivered on the day before I contacted them. Received many many excuses and none made sense I have all the email chains pictures of my account on the website and the flipped answers I have received. I have forwarded all to the BBB as well as the local police in Mass. conveniently 838pm tonight after contacting police sending them emails I receive another email saying they were going to refund my money today but I already started the charge back process you dam right at the police’s recommendation listen it’s only 200 bucks but I have all the patience and time in the world and don’t like to be cheated. I will also say I offered an out all they had to do was replace and send me the other hats besides the special I would eat that one as I know it was sold out on there site but never a response to that they say I should write a review on Fedx oh I will as I have an account with them and as soon as they would have put my name in the computer too ship I would have received a shipping alert come on folks. Be aware they make good hats they are NOT good people if you get it your lucky I am sure they have sent out thousands of hats but I have been reading there reviews and holy cow it’s trend just my warning too you

I've read many of the negative reviews and have not had these experiences myself. I own 4 Boston Scally 8-panel caps and am happy with them all. Yes, there are sizing issues, but if your cap is a little large or a little small, there are simple fixes using hot water and heat to shrink, cold water and wear to stretch. I have a XL Bootstrap I stretched (close fit), and a XXL Halloween Rose and XXL 8-Panel Plaid Trainer that I shrunk for a good but relaxed fit. I live in southeast Texas so the wool/poly blend caps don't get worn much. The 8-Panel Trainer and my XXL Cool Air (fit perfect out of the box) work just fine during most of the year here.

Terrible company - first, no phone number to speak to a real person. Secondly, they charge some bullshit 8 dollar restocking fee for refunds, even when someone wants to get another hat.Quality is ok - nothing special here, just some felt and a brim - but they think they deserve $8 for returns - avoid this company and shop in person

Scammed me on my gift hat no customer service at all it’s just a fake computer preprepared answer not specific to question bottom line never got hat charged 73.03 and reported to my CHASE CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THEY REVERSED CHARGES

I really love the products. But a bad experience has soured me from ever buying them again. I got a gift from my elderly dad. It was the wrong cap and didn't fit. So we returned it. They only send a credit to the original email address (aka buyer) and not the recipient. My Father can't seem to locate the credit email and we have a limited time to use it. So we will dispute the charge and never buy from them. Why is it when I get a Goldbelly or Harry and David gift and it's no probs. Melted frozen goods? No worries. Smushed pears - here's another box. I returned the cap and it was received. Now it's all blah blah blah about taking care of the customer. No more.

I ordered a scally hat for my husband for Christmas, following some holiday advertising they marketed in November. The hat was unfortunately too small and when asking for an exchange after opened on Christmas, or a store credit to size up, the company refused after multiple emails. Apparently, my order was too soon in November and outside of their exchange window that started on Nov 21. My fault for not fully digging into their holiday return window but would have appreciated something as I was not looking to return, just an exchange. So, unfortunately have to make research every merchant for policies can be challenging, especially at the holidays, and the company is not willing to move on policies to keep a future customer
