I was unsure about this at first because I did not like my first PA. I wanted a Psychiatrist but they do not have any available in my area. They are all PAs so I decided to try a mental health therapist instead. I lucked out with my pick because my therapist is awesome. The first thing he told me was that I was in a safe space with him and I did not know how badly I needed to hear that. I apparently need to still see a Psychiatrist PA to keep seeing my therapist so I got a new one and I really liked her. She couldn’t understand either why they made me speak to her either if I was comfortable and happy with my therapist but it is what it is. She said we can just check in every 3 months for 30 min so I’m good with that.

It was great until I missed an appointment and dont have the money to pay for it right now. I tried to make an appointment but i couldn't because it wants me to pay first.

Since using Brightside I've had a marked improvement in my mental health. Things are much better in my life. I love the ease and convenience of being able to do therapy remotely with good scheduling options.

Terrible customer service, and also hidden fees. Would NOT recommend, they added more stress in a time when I really did not need it. AWFUL company.

On January 28th 2026, I paid $95 to Bright Side Medical for prescription management services and an initial consultation. During my video consultation, within the first 5 minutes the provider informed me that they are unable to prescribe the medications I currently take and that they could not assist with my specific prescription management needs. The provider herself advised me to contact Bright Side Medical to request a refund since she was unable to deliver the services I paid for.I contacted Bright Side Medical to request a refund based on the provider's own recommendation. They refused. Their justification was that their medication limitations are disclosed on their website — however this information is not clearly visible or prominently displayed during the sign up and payment process. A reasonable consumer would not be aware of these restrictions prior to paying $95.I paid $95 for a service that was confirmed by the provider to be undeliverable to me. I received no consultation, no prescription management, and no alternative assistance. Retaining my payment under these circumstances is deceptive and an unfair business practice. multiple back & forth emails & no notes of any kind. they provided zero advice or anything useful. we didn't even bother to discuss anything further since they mentioned to reach out to them for a refund.I filed with BBB on 03/09/26 & they are stalling clear as day & think I'm stupid to fall for that. they claim to respond TO ALL MESSAGES within 72hrs.it's been MORE than 72hrs since I last messaged them & they consistently LIED about everything. do not ever expect a refund for this trash company. they are just making my small claims court easier to win. I can't wait to hear what they have to say when I also filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection bureau a few weeks ago. I hope their incompetence was worth it.

The interactions are of concern, patience and understanding. I was in a very bad space mentally when I started on 2-6-26; now I feel better about myself and seem to be getting back to being happy, caring and loving self. I'm still having issues completing tasks before starting another one. But I'll get there. 😀😀

They made the whole experience so quick and easy, had my appointment and same day was able to get my medications. I feel like Vicky really listens to me and does her best to do what best for her patients. I absolutely love bright side.
