The customer service team at Bug-A-Salt is absolutely fantastic. I had an issue with my order and delivery and Claudia from their service helped get everything sorted. The product is awesome! Good power, looks awesome. Bugs will regret coming into my house now!

Best gift we bought this Christmas
Best gift we bought this Christmas. Was a bit worried that I might have wasted $80, but me and my teenaged kids had great fun with it. As the reviews that I read said, you need to be within a couple of feet of your target, so you need to be patient. Makes you feel like a big game hunter (but with tiny game). There might be more effective pest control methods, but none more fun.

Stupid shipping lable
Bought as a Christmas present so not used the item yet, but what's the point of sticking it in a plain cardboard box for shipping, and then sticking a label on it saying EXACTLY what's inside? Absolutely braindead! No point wrapping the bugger now. Have a serious word with your warehouse! Stupid.

Fun toy 😉
So I had a bad review up on here and then my son told me how to use it properly and since him telling me I have killed all the flys I've seen. So sorry for the bad review earlier. So now I love this gun 😁PS don't be so close to the fly when shooting it it works much better.

SUPERB!
I’ve got all sorts of guns, I’ve got an air rifle of the top drawer sort, I’ve had shotguns, bbs, air soft, every sort, I bought my bug a salt under protest with myself thinking it’s going to be rubbish but get one in case, and I’m so glad I did, it’s brilliant and a lot more effective than I thought. Best thing I’ve bought in years, threw my electric bat away, I love it. And if you can’t get any flies in, get someone to throw raisins up and try and hit them, it’s like clay pigeon shooting. 😀

Great Lads Toy
Delivered via Royal Mail. Arrived 2 working days after the order. Some of the reviews mention it doesn’t kill flies but the instructions do make it clear you have to be within 3ft. It definitely does kill them if you’re close enough. Bought the laser with it but works great without too. Only had it a few days so can’t say anything about the longevity of it.

Seems like a nice idea, but Terrible Service — Deadlines Mean Nothing to Them
I was genuinely excited to try Bug-A-Salt, but the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. I ordered expecting the stated 2–4 day delivery time — in fact, I even built in a 5-day buffer just in case. Turns out, they not only miss their own deadlines, they don’t take any responsibility for it and make zero effort to make it right.Summer is exactly when you’d want this product the most, yet that seems to be when they fail the hardest. I can’t even tell you if it’s a good product because now I’ll have to cancel my order. Honestly, until you can get it at the same price on Amazon (with reliable shipping), I’d recommend holding off. Great concept, but terrible follow-through

Quit complaining and learn to use it!
The bad reviews makes no sense. Works a dream, had mine for three years now and still works a charm. Depending on aize of the flies you have to alter the distance. If the fly is small, go a bit further back because you’ll splatter it. If it’s fat and chunky, get a bit closer- you might also need a couple of shots, but it’s fine as you’ll probably knacker its wings and it’ll be slightly immobilised. Quit complaining and just learn to use it properly and it’ll be the best fly cancelling tool ever!
