Shocking my wife got me a voucher for…

Shocking my wife got me a voucher for afternoon tea for Christmas with Stanton manor hotel, we waited for the wether to improve before booking, we’ve tried to book through buy a gift website but it says Stanton manor doesn’t take online bookings and that I have to phone, I’ve been phoning multiple times a day for 7 days with no answer, I’ve managed to get through to someone on chat with buy a gift and there useless I have to keep repeating myself, they can’t book it and are refusing to refund me, so I have a voucher that doesn’t work

DO NOT BOOK VIA BUY A GIFT

Booked a two night getaway only to be told by the venue that they was not using buy a gift and did not have a booking. Even after paying extra on top of the voucher to book this specific hotel. When I tried to contact buy a gift they did not help at all, got me to fill out a form out for them to contact me within 48 hours. I never got a call back and am still fighting to even speak to someone and for my money back. The only way to get in touch is a live chat that they take roughly 10 minutes to reply back and don’t even offer any help what so ever. save yourself the hassle and do not use buy a gift.

Bannatyne Spa Day with Three Treatments…

Bannatyne Spa Day with Three Treatments and Lunch for OneFirstly the treatments were excellent. However the booking process, the lunch, the other staff and the overall day were terrible. I’m also still waiting for buyagift to phone me to sort out another problem for another purchase. I’ve been a long term client for years and if there is not a satisfactory resolution on this, I will NEVER buy anything from Buyagift again.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Got a £200 voucher and only managed to get 2 very poor seats at Mamma Mia for it. Then we tried to pay extra so that all 4 of the family could go. This split the order into 2 vouchers. I bought 2 tickets with the first voucher, but then couldnt buy the 2nd tickets with the 2nd voucher. I had to speak to customer services. This whole process took about 20 to 30 minutes. By the time I managed to get back in, the remaining tickets had all sold out! Leaving 2 of my family not able to go. Buyagift refunded the extra £100 for the 2 extra tickets, and we had to approach the theatre direct and buy tickets direct from them, but sit apart! I will never use Buyagift again, especially as they charge so much for the events. Total rip off.

2nd Review - Still no resolution

Sending this again! I am NOT raising another complaint for you to contact the merchant - I already did that and you didnt bother. I have reached out now so many times it isnt even funny. Buyagift you need to provide me with a proper point of escalation that YOU will provide me with the credit you promised!!!! If not, I will continue to post this same review EVERY SINGLE DAY! Dont underestimate my resolve to do it either. It takes a few seconds. So, dont bother with your standard templated response, give me the credit or better still, the refund because you have failed to deliver now numerous times.I have used this company many times for gifts but rarely have I been the one to sample the offering. I purchased a spa day for 2 with treatments and lunch included. The day itself was ok but poorly organised and my dietary requirements were not catered for despite warning and the food was shocking when it finally did arrive.So, I raised a complaint as this was for my husbands Xmas gift so I wanted it to be special. I also went direct to Bannatynes to complain and to their credit, they were very apologetic and keen to invite me back for a spa day (doesnt really cost them anything) no lunch and 20% off treatments (fair enough I guess). But, my beef is with Buya gift who have done everything to worm out of coughing up what they promised!!!It took me long enough to get acknowledgment that they are responsible, not the vendor as they hold the relationship. Irrespective of what the spa offered me, Buya gift are liable to fix the issue. Finally, some 6 weeks ago they agreed a credit would be applied to me account plus and uplift to spend however I chose. Great! problem solved right? Wrong!They are still back tracking saying they need to speak to the Spa - fine, speak to them but you promised me and YOU owe me! I have asked for a complaints process, I am told to go visit the same place on the website as I have already been. I have resent emails multiple times and now I am being ignored. This is completely unnacceptable and I will never used them again. Moreover, I am now compelled to share this review EVERYWHERE I can!!

The overall experience was good and he enjoyed it. However, when we registered we were told it was 5 laps laying 13 minutes but it was more 5 minutes and only 4 laps.

Better off booking direct

We paid extra to exchange our experience for a different one, but it turns out it would have been an awful lot cheaper to book directly with the hotel. Trying to contact buyagift for any information is pretty much impossible. Would not recommend.
