Trying to make a payment is a horrible experience. Their phone system is antiquated & outdated. No wonder they went bankrupt.. it's horrible experience trying to make a payment with a tired phone system.. conns is was pathetic.

PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES

When I made my purchase at your store in Tulsa, I followed my sales rep advice and I set up auto pay for amounts larger than the minimum amount due just to make sure I paid off within the 12 months under a “cash” option offer. Guess what you all did??? Didn’t process my 12th payment. This cancelled out my offer saying I was $97 short of paying it off, and now I have about $800 in interests, and growing. This is predatory. You all took advantage of that last payment and didn’t process it with the intention of canceling out that offer. Because I’m a cancer patient I placed ALL my bills on autopay so I could forget about bills and focus on my health. I came to notice that this account had defaulted several months later. I have been speaking with your Conns Servicing department, and with a “supervisor” since early December. Last week she told me to make a payment for $141 to bring my account to date, which I did, and to then to call back to see if they could reinstate my cash option. Obviously, they did not. Now I’m set up for $68 monthly payments to pay for all that interest just to avoid any more credit issues, and it’s going to continue to accrue interest. You all are PREDATORY. You failed as a business and went into bankruptcy and now you’re exploiting your customers to make up all the money you owe. Now on top of all my medical bills for surgeries and cancer treatment, I’m going to be paying loads of money worth of interest for a washer and dryer that I bought 2 years ago. Way to go Conn’s. You sure “conned” your way out of all your business responsibilities by taking advantage of your customers.

I think we all need to go in on a class…

I think we all need to go in on a class action suit against conns. To many bad reviews Bought a couch, loveseat and recliner. With in a month the fabric was ripped from stretching. Contacted the warranty company. They had someone come out and sent a replacement for the mechanical components of said couch. When I contacted them back saying the couch fabric ripped they then said it was under review. Months later I got a email saying not covered.. no explanation..

Be honest and don't LIE to the customer.I purchased a washer and dryer and was charged the property insurance which I DECLINED and was told it would be removed when the account was paid off.Which was a LIE. I am told they can't reimbursted the account. I WAS ASSURED THE PROPERTY INSURANCE WOULD BE REIMBURSTED.

SHADY *%#+ BILLING

I bought an office desk back in June 2023. I opted for the payment plan with an option to pay off early. I made eight monthly payment for $35.31. The ninth month I paid $100 10th and 11th month I made $200 payments. Totaling $782.48. So I actually paid the account off early in full May 2024. Today, June 2025 I receive a letter from cons stating I have a balance of $418.06 but I can make a $30.54 payment to bring it current. So over a year later I get this noticed that I still have a balance. I don't know what they're trying to pull, but they can pull on it somewhere else.

This one star rating is overdoing it

This one star rating is overdoing it. I can clearly see why they are out of business. I bought a fridge from them that stopped working within months of purchasing it. If by chance there is a conns in your area, please spare yourselves the headache. Pay attention to the name. Do not purchase from them. Even with a warranty its been a headache. The tech came out and outright refused to fix the issue saying he'd order the part but we needed to find someone else to fix it. This is ridiculous!

0 star company. Deserves to close.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. I ordered a fridge from them and when they came to deliver it the delivery men damaged my washer and dryer bringing the fridge in the house. I called Conn’s to have this rectified and they said it’s my problem because I “signed a liability waiver”. I knew I didn’t sign anything, come to find out, their delivery men just forged my signature on the liability waiver because they forgot to get me to sign it in the beginning and they couldn’t have me sign it after they damaged my property. Conns refused to do anything about the situation. They also lied to the BBB and said there was no damage, even though I sent in evidence of damage. I’m glad they’re going bankrupt and shutting their doors, they don’t deserve to be open.

I purchase a 2600-dollar tv that set on the floor for days they told me I had to purchase a mount for the tv which I did after 4 days finally had an appointment set up to mount the tv the mount was a half inch off so no tv on the wall, my dad had come to see what was going on, he went and purchase the mount and mounted on the wall, so I call conn after 6 days of having the tv I call and cancelled the install for the tv I have been calling for months for them to refund my 349.99 for the install, Phil keep saying they will call me back I still haven't heard from Phil nor Justis

Take your business elsewhere!

Take your business elsewhere!Need a zero star befitting for this monster of a company. No wonder they're going out of business. They take your money with no issues but fail to deliver. Save your time,money and stick with Lowes or Home Depot.When you call regarding issues everyone provides a different response. There's no true customer services. They're robots program to provide you with the same response. Thieves in uniform. Better off contacting Better Business Bereau or better your attorney.
