it was an awesome adventure. Our travel guide, Marinia, was interesting, lovely and enjoyable to listen to. The trip showed us beautiful parts of Lisbon, Portal and other towns. But our main reason for going was to see/experience Fatima. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time in Fatima. We arrived in Fatima at 5:30 pm and had only one evening to see everything. The museum and the children's village were closed. We left at 9 am the next day. Fatima is a highlight and more time should be allocated for this town. All the hotels we stayed at were top notch and beautiful. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Beautiful Destination Trip.

I was unable to take the trip I had booked due to a medical emergency.I tried to resolve the situation by first contacting Exoticca. I spent numerous hours both online and on hold (via numerous phone calls). When I finally got a customer service rep (after 3 hours on hold) she was of absolutely no help. She told me I could not cancel my trip and would let a supervisor know and they would email me. She could not tell me when I should expect an email. This was on March 9, 2026 and as of April 2, 2026 I still have not received an email. I'm sure I never will as the rep was extremely rude and obviously did not know what her job entailed (CUSTOMER SERVICE).

Overall, I like Exoticca. I think it provides people with an affordable travel option. I did the Exoticca tour last year to Peru and had absolutely no concerns or complaints. It was an unbelievable experience. I was expecting the same quality with the Brazil trip and it was a bit of a disappointment. It began with the pick up at the airport. The guide was very nice, but the vehicle to transport us to the hotel was not adequate to transport the four of us. I had to sit on my husband’s lap the whole way. Most of the guides were very helpful and approachable. However, one of the guides assured us that the Uber driver who was taking us back to our hotel after an excursion, knew the hotel address. As it turned out, he did not and he was lost. We eventually got out of the car to walk back to our hotel. It was the second day and we ended up being very lost walking back to the hotel. The full day boat day was not enjoyable at all. Everything about this day was over crowded. Finally, we did not receive any help at the airport upon departure, including not knowing where the Air Canada counter was. We also unnecessarily arrived at the airport at least 1 hour too soon. I am glad this was not my first experience with Exoticca as I don’t think I would consider travelling with Exoticca again.

I highly recommend the Portugal Coastal Treasures tour. It was great to be able to explore so many cities during the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He taught us so much about the history of Portugal. The hotels were good and had great breakfasts. It was a good balance between guided tours and free time as well. My only recommendation would be to spend more time in Nazare and Porto.

It’s very easy to book a package through the phone. The agents are also very cordial and helpfull. Credits on the account always very helpful in our decision for our next trip

PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company, we booked a holiday to South America costing just under £8000. We were contacted for the outstanding balance of £4000 in Nov 25 but due to an issue with the booking said we needed to pay the full amount and would receive the original £3959 deposit back.... that was in Nov 25 but we are still waiting for the refund to be paid. Exoticca customer service is horrendous with them just dismissing or ignoring our complaints and stating they know nothing about it!! This has caused extreme stress as we have now paid £1200 for a £8000 holiday.

Excellently managed SA tour! Great value for money even for "charm" category. It would have been great though to have an in-person welcome by an Amazing Africa staff upon arrival. Saw lots of animals at Kruger. Day 3 though at Kruger had really nothing to do or any where to go except if one wanted to do another full day of game drive. Nkambeni lodge can be advised to host evening cultural dances, outdoor games/activities, a gym, boardgames, cards etc. Capetown & Peninsula were a pleasant surprise! Breathtakingly beautiful...a retirement gem💎

My husband is a senior traveler who has some mobility issues. The guide and bus driver took extra time to ensure he make less walk about choices. It was great not worrying about choosing site visits and transportation throughout.
