The commercial publishing industry has unfortunately reduced all contemporary books as just vectors for 300 plus words. To me a book is an fount of beauty that carries an unfathomable and edifying cargo: the output of creative minds. Folio Society, by is exotic recreation of the great books has resurrected the old art of book making. Every recreation is a work of art - as it must be. It's an ecstatic experience to hold a Folio book in your hand and slowly savor its pages.
