I bought these shoes for my girlfriend, and unfortunately, they were extremely uncomfortable and looked cheap. When I requested a return, FSJ initially told me I could keep the first pair and choose another pair instead.We tried again, selecting classic black high heels, but they arrived with an oversized belt/latch that looked completely ridiculous and served no purpose. When I reached out to FSJ’s return department, I was told I would have to return both pairs, which I did via USPS (the cheapest option I could find - $60).On top of that, while FSJ refunded the cost of the shoes, they did not refund the $30 shipping cost for the initial order. In the end, I lost $60 due to their product flaws and misleading handling of the return process.This was by far the worst return experience I’ve ever had. Their team seemed more focused on keeping the shoes to make money than actually helping the customer.

Now I feel threatened. The email I received this morning from Ms. Chen from FSJ shoes:‘Changing the size requires remaking the shoes, hence the delay. My review contains only facts about my experience. I was not told these shoes are being ‘handmade to order’. Had I known, I would not have changed the size, since my daughter’s size is between sizes 3 and 4, and we are on a time constraint (prom). Additionally, the FSJ size guide does not open to include the directions, and diagram, for how FSJ measures the foot. You have to scroll down to the bottom. I had no reason to scroll down, as my daughter wears the smallest sizes (listed at the top).It is unethical to suggest I remove my review in order to receive my refund.So Disappointed. I ordered size 4 on April 1st for my daughter’s prom April 25th. I would have ordered earlier, but I had never heard of the company, nor come across it online before. I was truly very excited - it’s so hard to find ‘women’ shoes in her foot size. After the 3 business days, the order had not yet shipped. I contacted the company and asked if it would be shipped soon because my daughter is ‘in between size 3 and 4’ based on their sizing chart and I was unsure as to whether I’d need to (hopefully have time to) return size 4 and purchase size 3. The representative was prompt, provided a diagram of how to measure for ‘heel to toe’, and told me not to order two different sizes. Based on the diagram, I had not measured correctly and likely my daughter is a size 3 in their shoes. I was very appreciative. I later realized this diagram is on their ‘sizing guide’, but you have to scroll all the way down to get to it (my child is in the smallest size, so I had no need to scroll down). It was April 7th (same day I received the email response from the FSJ representative) when I confirmed to her the change to size 3. April 10th I emailed, again, asking if the shoes would ship soon (I did not expect incurring an entire new 3 day ‘processing’ time just for changing size). I am notified on April 11th the shoe is ‘handmade to order’ and she can try to ‘expedite’ the making of the shoe. This is very frustrating because, one, nowhere on the site does it say the ‘as is’ shoes are ‘handmade to order’ (the customized ones clearly are), two, the 3 day processing time is complete for the size 3 shoes so I don’t understand why there is a need to ‘expedite’, three, had I known the shoes are ‘handmade to order’ I would have kept the size 4 shoes (the difference in the size 3 and 4 is not that large, and her feet are a little on the ‘wide’ side). She now says to ensure I get the shoes on time I need to pay $30 expedited shipping. I refuse to do that. I could BARELY validate paying $120 for prom shoes to begin with. So, long story short, scroll all the way down on the sizing guide to get a diagram of how to measure for the fit of your FSJ shoe, and ‘processing time’ = hand making the shoe to order, so do not expect it to be only 3 business days, in addition to the up to 12 day shipping time.

Ordered a pair of shoes that came nothing like in the photos on the website. They don’t accept refunds because I wanted the inside lining to be leather (which obviously isn’t). I don’t care that much about the 100$ I lost, but their answer to my email saying they don’t see any difference between what i got and the website photos was disappointing. Absolutely avoiding them in the future.

I love the variety of options and I love that all your shoes come in bigger sizes. Being a transgender woman, it is hard for me to find shoes in my size and every shoe that was available came in bigger sizes? So the options were limitless.

The product and the customer service are both horrible. Please, read the customer reviews (especially the one-star reviews; I am convinced the 5-star ones are by bots or employees) before you buy -- you will be saving yourself from a lot of aggravation and disappointment in the future. The boots that looked great in the picture arrived 3 weeks after I ordered them. Based on the reviews I read after I purchased them it appears that I actually received my item faster than many others, as every real customer had to wait at least 6 weeks before they received the item(s) they bought. You can not track your order after it is shipped, as the carrier they use only tells you that your item(s) is "in transit". If you contact customer service to find out exactly where "in transit" your items are, all they will tell you is that they are "in transit". So, the tracking number you get is pretty much useless. The quality of the boots I bought is very poor. I had read in the description of the boots that they would be vegan leather, which is fake leather. So, I knew that before I bought them for $115.00. However, I had purchased some vegan leather pumps by another brand and they are fantastic -- you would never know they weren't real leather. These boots? Totally fake looking. The wedge heels are plastic and look like plastic. The fake leather looks like fake leather. They are not well made, except for the laces which are ok. The boots are too big -- my feet swim in them. Which brings me to their customer service. I wanted to return them and get a refund. Unfortunately, if you return your item for ANY reason, you have to pay the shipping charges (this is stated in their return policy, which I didn't read before purchasing. My bad.) I emailed them about returning the boots and they reminded me about the return policy, and offered me an exchange instead of a return. I said okay, I'll just get the same item in a smaller size. Simple, right? NOT. They sent me an email telling me that I had to take a video of me wearing the boots so they can decide whether or not the boots are too big. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Like, what? They have x-ray vision and can see inside the boots to determine if they are too big? I'm going to do it, and then contact my credit card company to dispute the charge because they are being such jerks. But, you are now warned. Do not waste your money.

I love FSJ!! I have purchased several pairs over the last couple of years and they are all amazing!They are always comfortable no matter the heel height, and they are always high quality! They last forever!!The customer service responds quickly and is always very helpful! I recommend FSJ to all my friends!
