Kayak is the biggest crooks ever, truly bait and switch company. Run run run
Hands-down, the worst experience I’ve ever seen the first time, I ever used kayak and my last time. I made a Car Rental reservation about 2 1/2 hours ago, for Washington Dulles airport pick up. When I got the actual reservation, it was for Sterling Virginia 30 miles away, which is absolutely ridiculous. Then trying to make the reservation to make sure that I had it, I called Avis and Avis said no your reservation is for Sterling not Dulles airport. It took me over an hour, to get the reservation changed and then the guy from kayak charged me $75 to make the change fee and I kept asking why would I have to pay when I didn’t book it at Sterling Virginia. He made me pay the $75 fee before he would actually send me an email stating that I had a Car Rental with Avis. This is bait and awitch. This is Fraud, and I plan on going to my bank and getting my $75 back cause I’m not gonna pay it. Do not book anything with kayak. They are the biggest crooks in the world. I would rather pay 50% more than book with them and any day of the week. Run run run away from them absolute crooks.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. They do not book, they have third party "agencies" that only want to upsell and not support customer when they need it. If you have a issue with your flight you are on your own.

Kept refreshing while I was attempting to book an international flight. Each time, it cleared the cache and forced data re-entry.Apparently this is because their pricing is dynamic and any changes force the user to startover.Lame business model.

Scam Alert: Kayak and Agoda hotel booking
I am absolutely furious. I searched on Kayak for a hotel stay from March 4th to 5th (tonight). Kayak redirected me to Agoda, but during the redirect, the dates were silently changed to March 11th–12th.I trusted the search results and paid for the hotel, only to realize I lost my money on a booking I never wanted. This is a deceptive practice between Kayak and Agoda. They lure you in with a price for your date and then switch it at checkout. Total scam – do not trust them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SCAM Alert on Kayak
SCAM Alert on Kayak! Why on earth Kayak associates themselves with AIRFARE ASSIST, a bunch of scammers?I booked a flight to Tenerife thru Kayak, they send me a flight confirmation, with a reservation code and all, and I thought I was done. It was a return flight, and I did not care much about it, I had the 5 digit reservation code. On my last day of vacation, I tried to check in for my flight... the flight was never paid and booked. I spent the last day of my vacation chatting with the airline, and trying to figure out what happened. It was NEVER paid for, I had no flight, and was forced to purchase a NEW return flight from United. When I came home, I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card, and the next day, I received an email from "Vincent", a rep from AirfareAssist, stating that I need to email back and state I am not disputing the charge. I sent them all the communication with the airline, explaining to them I did not get the ticket. They never came back although I sent them subsequent emails with clear proof the flight was never issued. Stay away from Kayak's 3rd party associates.

Very good flight search engine to compare flight prices from different websites. Lot's of filters available to find the ideal flight. Extra information available like type of aircraft used in the flight you are interested in and more. Recommend it.
