It took a long time (many months)…
It took a long time (many months) before getting results and was constantly bombarded by the company emails to purchase more of their services. Once the results came, I felt vague genuine, my family tree is empty - filled with unsure data that I provided myself. It looks that their business model is that public fill in information (even if unproven, just vague) that they sell further. I have provided the company with my personal information when signing with them initially plus filling in info in my empty family tree. So there is nothing special when I received results today - any software can colour Eurasian regions based on data provided (here myself). There is zero trust in their results whatsoever.

My human contact on My Heritage
My human contact on My Heritage was great but getting to Luis was a chore. Automated Chat offers answers & if you select one it takes you to their help pages. Sounds good but if I’ve already checked the Help then it not good. Help was noted clear enough for me to ensure subscription had been cancelled & that I would not experience another payment.

Upgrading for more access/more joy!
Sean cold called me, which made me very wary it was a scam phone call, but quickly I realized that he was from the myheritage.com team. I wasn't really looking to upgrade my service, but was always curious about the Omni plan. Sean explained it in great detail and I decided to go for it! I am currently on a 'high' of just finding my Swiss roots, and the added services seem like they will help me search every nook and cranny of my heritage. I am planning a 60th birthday trip to visit the hometowns of my ancestors, and I feel sure by then I will have discovered more than enough to make it a satisfying journey. I had great validation through the DNA testing when I matched to a genetic group in Fribourg, Switzerland. Prior to that, I was only 95% sure I had found 'my people'. Myheritage.com has been a great resource for me, and the DNA test gave me the matches I was hoping for in Europe!

Some good. Some not so good.
Relatively simple website to navigate. I would’ve given it 5 stars if there was a way to better manage ‘Matches’ as they quickly pile up. I wasn’t overly impressed with the billing system either as it borders on being deceptive.
