Very positive experience

I ordered 2 items from the website as they were very competitively priced but a while after purchase I read reviews on Trust pilot and immediately regretted my choice.However my experience has been very positive. I had to wait for a week or two for one item that wasn't in stock but the site was transparent about this at the point of purchase. Once dispatched my order arrived promptly and I'm delighted with my purchases, great items and a really good price. 5 stars from me!

Waiting for a replacement to damaged cupboard door for 2 months

Ordered a string cupboard which took 4 weeks to arrive and the door was damaged I am still waiting for the replacement door after 2 months and numerous calls/emails chasing them.Update You could have found my order number by name but I guess not so it’s R0008096197Also you have now sent the replacement door to the incorrect address

Trust the negative reviews & AVOID!

Wow I should have read these reviews before ordering as this was clearly a mistake!I ordered one item on 20th December which was allegedly available for dispatch in 2-3 weeks however, it’s now been 6 weeks and I have since received an email every 3 weeks telling me it is delayed. Don’t believe the good reviews, they are so obviously written by AI its laughable!

Don't buy here

Don't buy here. With the confirmation of the sale made (2 products), I directly received an email telling me there is a delay of 6 weeks in delivery..... after 2-3 weeks, I received a new email of the delay, still being 6 weeks.... I cancelled the order. That actually went fine.....

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was silly enough to ignore the reviews because I was so drawn to one of their art pieces that I took the risk. Don’t. You’ll waste your money. They’ll ship the wrong item, or the wrong size. A solution is harder to get than is worth. Total waste of time, money and mental energy which in today’s age, we don’t need. Save yourself the stress and just forget you ever looked at anything on Nordic Nest. Scam.

Owed money for a refund, sent wrong item, no resolution after two months.

Beyond frustrated with my last experience of Nordic Nest, despite being a previously happy long term customer.I paid £370.99 for the value of a large Hay rug on the 3rd January. The following day I contacted customer services to change the colour. Unfortunately the agent swapped the rug for a different colour but unfortunately a different size, issuing a refund in price difference (£55.99).Following this I waited for my rug, and the original colour arrived which is incorrect. I have paid for a rug that I did not receive, and have received the wrong colour. There is no option to return this rug as I am a UK customer, so customer service started that I can keep this rug for £45 as consolation, but I had already paid £280.99.“As confirmed with you over the phone, we are happy to offer you a discounted rate to keep the rug for a total of £45, and offer you a 10% discount on the rug you are looking to order.”I am therefore owed money by Nordic Nest. I have tried to solve this with Nordic Nest directly, but they do not seem to think I am owed any money. I have tried to resolve it with my bank, who initially did refund me, but since then the amount has been refunded to NN.I am incredibly disappointed by my experience, not only am I owed money but I have a rug in a colour I did not even want.It is impossible to get through to the same customer service person more than once over the phone and email, making it difficult to resolve the issues. I have tried to call again today, have held the line and once I got through they hung up. Just terrible customer experience and service overall.Its the end of January and I ordered this item in December.Order Number NN0007800846Case Number [#4914032]

Avoid at all costs

Not happy at all. Avoid. I ordered a series of things. I received an email telling me that all of them, except one item, was out of stock. Ok. This happens. They asked if I’d like the one item to come before the others and I said yes. I received this item. I then waited for the 5 other items. These did not arrive. I tried to call: they have an answer phone, but nobody to speak to, and you cannot leave a message. I tried to Chat on their online Chat: this is never actually manned. I have emailed them many times, and they tell me that ‘the things have been delivered’ and enclosed a photo of the delivery box. This photo is correct - but it’s for the One item that they did send, not the complete order. My next review will contain more info, including my order number in the hope that Nordic Nest will reimburse, or send me my order, or provide me with an explanation through this review process. What are we meant to do?

I am reporting Nordic Nest to…

I am reporting Nordic Nest to Trading Standards here in the UK.I received some faulty/damaged items. I requested a refund or exchange for what was damaged. The company replied with an offer of a 20% discount instead for glasses not safe to use or fit for purpose! That is also after delivery delays. They advertised for deliveries guaranteed on time for Christmas , which of course arrived a few days after Christmas. Additionally, they expect you to pay for shipping goods back from the UK! I will certainly never buy anything again from them. They are dishonest, untrustworthy and unreasonable. Last but not least, the pricing is very dynamic. I feel I have been scammed. Terrible experience. Beware.

A great product selection, but serious transparency issues

Nordic Nest offers a beautiful assortment of Scandinavian homeware, and their prices are generally aligned with other online shops selling the same brands. Unfortunately, after several orders, I’ve run into recurring problems that make the shopping experience frustrating.* **Extremely long shipping delays:** Sometimes a whole order is held up for weeks because *one* item is out of stock. (They now allow partial shipments, which is an improvement.)* **Poor packaging:** Fragile items, especially tableware, are often insufficiently protected. I’ve received broken pieces more than once, and then had to wait several more weeks for replacements to be back in stock.* **Dynamic pricing that feels unfair:** Prices can vary drastically depending on whether you’re logged in, browsing anonymously, or using mobile vs. laptop. For example, a plate at €17 when browsing anonymously suddenly costs €27 when logged into my account. This doesn’t exactly encourage customer loyalty.* **Rewards system and newsletter discounts:** The points program (5€ off for roughly €600 spent) isn’t worthwhile, especially since the same discount is easily available by subscribing to the newsletter.* **Shipping cost inconsistencies:** The website advertises €5.90 for delivery to France, yet at checkout it becomes €8.90.In short, Nordic Nest has a great product range, but the **lack of transparency**, inconsistent pricing, and repeated logistical issues make the experience disappointing — at times even borderline dishonest. With more clarity and fairer pricing practices, it could be an excellent shop; for now, it has too many drawbacks.

I found Nordic nest Company through a…

I found Nordic nest Company through a Google search when I was looking for specific Scandinavian home pieces. I live in Northern Ireland (UK), and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience.There were a few items I’d seen locally that I loved — the Scandinavian style, quality and design — but they were quite expensive. I waited until November to finally make thoughtful choices and order the pieces I really wanted since the summer. I ordered a lovely fern Living footstool (which was much cheaper here than the UK shops) and a beautiful piece from OYOY, a brand I’ve found hard to source in NI. I had seen the fern Living item in before, in a store (diff colour) so I knew what to expect, but the OYOY piece exceeded my expectations — absolutely gorgeous as I had just seen photos online only. Everything arrived perfectly — no damage, no marks, and safely packaged. One of the boxes is so sturdy I’m keeping it to reuse! Bubble wrap, great care with the packing — you can tell they value their products and customers.Delivery took around two to two and a half weeks, likely because one item was coming back into stock and it was shipped from Sweden? Even still, I’m very impressed — especially with free postage, no import fees. Overall, I saved quite a bit compared to buying” locally”, and I’m thrilled with the quality, the selection, and the service. The pieces are Scandinavia brands so I’m not really buying locally anyway if you understand. I will absolutely order from Nordic NEST Company again — the brands they curate are beautiful, and they’ve made high-quality Scandinavian design much more accessible for me in NI. Delivery was DPD on my side.
