Dodgy pricing strategy

Clothes are cute but materials are cheap and synthetic. Buyer beware: if you like something, wait a week or two, they’ll probably reduce the price by 75%. I ordered a piece from them for $125 ($198 with tariffs+shipping), two days after I receive my item, it’s on-sale for $25. I asked Poster Girl if they’d give me a credit for the difference in good faith but they declined and didn’t even bother to reply. I’ll definitely never use Poster Girl again due to their customer service and less-than fabrics. Seems scammy when everything on the site is originally priced $400+ but the markdown shows $100~.

Brand owner’s conduct resulted in financial loss and unfulfilled commitment

I entered into a gifting exchange directly with the brand’s owner, Natasha Somerville, after she initially got in touch with my brand, Löwin (@lowin) following consistent written communication over time indicating that the pieces would be worn and shared on her platform.Based on those repeated assurances, I created and delivered multiple handmade pieces. Prior to shipment, the scope of the exchange was extended at her request to include additional pieces for her business partner, Francesca Capper. While there was brief initial engagement, subsequent communication was not responded to and no further follow-through occurred.Over a period of approximately 11 months, the agreed exposure did not materialize. The only content provided consisted of a temporary story, which only share the photo of the gift box and handwritten note. And, later, a reshare of a post that had to be initiated on my side using images she had previously shared via DM. The pieces were not independently worn and presented as it had been consistently communicated by Natasha Somerville. After requesting clarity and providing a defined 7-day period for confirmation of a posting date, this was not addressed. Instead, the position was reframed as a “non-binding gifting arrangement,” and I was instructed to arrange and bear the cost of returning the pieces, including international shipping and import taxes. It was further implied at that stage that content on the platform may be subject to paid placement, a condition that had not been disclosed at any point prior to the creation and delivery of the pieces.Attempts to resolve the matter directly were unsuccessful. I was subsequently blocked from both personal and brand accounts by Natasha Somerville, Francesca Capper and by Poster Girl, removing any reasonable avenue for resolution. In addition, it is notable that following receipt of the pieces, there was a visible shift toward handmade production and more romantic design elements within the brand’s output, which are the core of my brand's DNA.Taken together, this sequence of events reflects a material discrepancy between the terms consistently communicated over time and the outcome ultimately delivered, resulting in financial loss, loss of product, and an absence of accountability from the receiving party.

I bought a pair of shorts

I bought a pair of shorts, they look like they’ve been cut at the bottom with a pair of scissors, and the cut is not straight! Terrible quality!

Poster girl lacks transparency

Poster girl should really calculate what the import fees when shipping is calculated. Paying $35 for shipping then $45 for import fees feels like a slap in the face. If you’re going to pass that fee onto the customer be transparent. First and last time shopping with poster girl. I have a friend who makes similar clothing and she’s local.

Nice leggings shipping was fast. However got surprised with additional $51.99 for shipping after I ordered the product. If I had not paid it the fees would have went up more
