Lovely informative agent
My experience was brilliant. I had a lovely, helpful and patient agent called Andrei. He talked me through everything and waited patiently as I fumbled around with passwords etc. l find tax, business and all that comes with it so confusing as I’m learning as I go. However, I now feel so much more confident about it all going forward.

Customer service is great
Customer service was great. The share screen feature was really helpful. A shout-out to Julia. She was knowledgeable, optimised the instructions by testing them in her system first, and then provided the right steps. She was super kind and precise.

Sole Trader VAT Registered for MTD
As a sole trader having to register for VAT and make MTS submissions for the first time the prospect was somewhat daunting!My 45-60 minute session with Daneel was exceptionally helpful.From a position of confusion he calmly walked me through everything I needed to know in terms of how to log transactions, link to HMRC Gateway for VAT and Self-Assessment, and many more helpful tips.Within an hour he had moved me from a position of dread to a position of confidence!Top Marks

I can't believe there are only 9%…
I can't believe there are 81% 5-star reviews. Seems a lot of people are very dissatisfied with this online software, as I am! I kept some of my clients on the 2014 desktop version and it still works perfectly! No fancy bells & whistles, no changing layouts every few months ... and free! What's not to like?

I like what I have seen of Intuit QuickBooks
I needed accounting software for HMRC's new Making Tax Digital quarterly submissions for self-employed sole traders, and plumped for Intuit Quickbooks. Have just had a helpful onboarding phone call. From what I have seen so far I am reassured that this choice of commercial software is a good one.

Definitely book a real life expert. Brilliant
It all seemed overwhelming at first, but I had a 1-on-1 with Jaeh that lasted an hour, and that helped me see the bigger picture before tackling the minutiae. This has given me confidence to place my business in QuickBooks' hands.

Extractive pricing without new features or benfits
Unfortunately, they've raised the cost of the software by over 100% without any new additional features over the past several years. They rely on their monopoly of accountants to keep customers, and the company just harvests profits. I recommend investigating other options.
