Great selection of original artists
Snatching Art has a great selection of original art works from a variety of very talented artists. And purchasing from Saatchi Art was extremely easy to navigate. My purchase was well packed and shipped promptly and was received with no issues. My only complaint would be I wish there was a way to directly ask the artist a question regarding their art piece. And there might be a way but it was not apparent to me. But I still give this site 2 thumbs-up.

Contact was good from Saatchi art, but unfortunately the item I chose took 7 months to arrive, this was a communication error between the artist and Saatchi Art!

A Strong Platform That Needs Better Responsiveness
As an interior designer, I’ve sourced a number of pieces through Saatchi Art over the years, and when the process works, it’s fantastic. When an artist responds promptly to an offer, the platform makes discovering and acquiring original art seamless and enjoyable. That is incredibly valuable when working on tight project timelines.That said, the experience can be inconsistent, and recently it cost us a piece we were excited about. I submitted an offer on behalf of a client and didn’t hear back from the artist for several days. Given our deadlines, we ultimately moved forward with a second choice. Ironically, the day after I rescinded the offer, the artist contacted Saatchi saying they were open to moving forward, but by then the opportunity had passed.For a platform like this to function effectively, especially for professionals, there needs to be more structure and responsiveness built into the process. At a minimum, artists should be required to communicate acceptable pricing ranges upfront. This would allow Saatchi to negotiate on their behalf. Relying on individual artists to respond in a timely manner just does not align with the pace of real world design projects.Because of experiences like this, I’ve found myself sourcing less and less from Saatchi for client work. The potential is absolutely there, but the execution needs to better support the realities of professional buyers.

Quality and Professionalism
I was very impressed with this art company. My item was shipped within a couple of days from the artist and is beautiful. A description of how the piece was made and how to care for it accompanied the artwork, as well as a nice little note from the artist. I would buy from Saatchi again!
