We ordered a bathroom vanity but then the work to install it was delayed months due to a poor contractor experience. Once we finally got to installation we discovered that the top to the vanity was damaged sitting shipping. Scout and Nimble ordered a replacement immediately, which arrived on time and they followed up! Great customer service!

While they represent lovely furnishings, they are horrible at everything after you make your purchase. They don't tell you the merchandise is coming from the far East and it takes an inordinate amount of time just to get the merchandise on a ship. Then you wait for it to get across the ocean etc. I could have purchased the exact same thing from many other sources and receive the goods in a timely fashion! Then they said they attempted a partial delivery but I was here the entire day and no such attempt happened! While they have a lovely web site I would rather go with a name I trust! Proceed with caution!

I ordered 3 lights. I accidentally order the wrong finish. I did read the return policy but I guess I didn't see where that you couldn't exchange. That was disappointing. I contacted customer support and Ava sent me one return label for 3 descent sized boxes and asked me to combine them into 1 box. I told her that couldn't be done and to please send me 3 return labels. Ava did not respond. I contacted customer support again and everything got taken care of. The return policy is a little strict so make sure that you get your order right the first time!

The Four Hands Isador dining table from Scout & Nimble is attractive but poorly made. After 3.5 years of minimal use and careful adherence to care instructions, the seams on both short ends have split—over 8 inches on one end and nearly a foot on the other. This is not minor wear and tear; the table is literally coming apart.Scout & Nimble denied my request for a replacement or refund because the one-year warranty period had passed, and stated that “wood does naturally expand and contract over time, so some splitting is to be expected and normal.” Splitting of this magnitude in a lightly used dining table at this price point is not normal. Labeling it as “expected” raises serious questions about Scout & Nimble’s product standards and commitment to its customers.My experience reflects poorly on both the product’s craftsmanship and Scout & Nimble’s willingness to stand behind its products. Buyers expecting durability or accountability should think twice.
