I made a transfer from Netherlands to…
I made a transfer from Netherlands to Turkey with a minor amount below 200 euros. Firstly you dont mention that it will take 3 to 5 days upfront. Secondly while i can transfer it with competitors in 2 hours max why i would choose again your service?. My transfer was urgent to pay my bills that are close to due date. Now i have to pay interest because of your weak communication that it not clearly stating transfer time. I wont use second time money gram.

⚠️ **Avoid MoneyGram – Funds Taken, Not Delivered**SCAM alert!My name is Nagy. I made two transactions (#42984702 on 5 February and #94213153 on 31 January) and the money was debited from my card but never delivered.After multiple attempts to resolve this, MoneyGram failed to provide clear proof of where the funds are. Instead, they sent a very strange non-verifiable document with a code that does not even specify the receiving bank name or dates.My receiver bank, Absa, confirmed that no funds were received by MoneyGram and no trace request was ever made, despite MoneyGram claiming otherwise. This is a serious contradiction.I also found many other customers reporting the same issue after a few successful transactions, which is extremely concerning.🚨⚠️ Be very cautious using MoneyGram. Based on my experience, I do NOT recommend this service; they are running a SCAM or scheme like where funds are never delivered after a few successful transactions.

Easy to set up an online account and get started, but actually sending a transfer internationally is another matter entirely. They block transfers to many different countries by default - including the Ukraine, despite advertising free transfers - then require you to contact them to try to resubmit. Doing so solves nothing, and just leads another default system block and some odd questions about what specifically the recipient will do with the money. I’ve sent dozens of transfers over the years but it’s just a pain now, not to mention invasive. Just use an app, crypto transfer or bank transfer.
