I own 2 of their belts and have used them for the last 6 months. My review is that they are as advertised as far as quality. One is a Black Full Grain Leather with a long gun metal buckle and the other is I think a hybrid synthetic leather based on the feel and finish, still very nice but different texture and has a shorter gun metal gray buckle and that belt is called Wide Mocha Brown Belt. My issue is more so with the black full grain leather. I don’t know if the buckle is too heavy, the leather is too soft or a combination of both, but it’s just waayy too floppy when not buckled. Very buckle heavy and when you unbuckle to use the bathroom especially you have to be very mindful of where it goes. Other than that, it’s a beautiful very high quality belt. If Slidebelt happens to read this, my suggestion would be to have some kind of hard spine run through the entirety of the belt to give it more stability. So just continue the ridge plastic insert for the ratchet all the way around to the other side and you can just have it be flat on the portion that is not part of the ratchet track. Great product though. Still happy with my purchase.

Nice belt , bought a number. Within the last two years the buckle on two has failed. One of the pins has fallen out making the belt useless. They should send extra pins with the belt.

Buy this belt if you only want it to last for a year or so. After wearing the 2 belts I purchased for a year or so, the teeth that grip the leather/fabric loosen and the buckle then detaches without any notice.The company only warranties the belt for 12 months, so there is no recourse. Poor design and inferior materials.

Belts latches are designed with a friction fit that wears out within a year. There is no way to repair it and the latch doesn't stay closed, which looks terrible. Full grain leather belts are so-so. The key organizer fob has failed for me and multiple people I know. Don't waste your money on this overpriced stuff. Get a ratcheting belt with the small lever catch that most other companies use.

Nice belts with cool mechanism I liked, however not very durable. The buckle got broken on both of the belts I've ordered after 10 months of use and the paint got off the buckle as well. I wouldn't buy it again unfortunately.

Again, I'm coming to write a review here on Trustpilot because yet another company that has internally controlled reviews REFUSES to post my review...I initially purchased from this company last year. It was a gun belt. It was a nice belt. Thick and sturdy enough to hold my holster. There was a problem though, the belt was being torn apart by the buckle. I noticed this and forgot about it until recently and turned in a warranty claim. It was a week or so after my 12 month but the issues started well before so they honored it. However, the belt I purchased was a limited release and they didn’t have any in stock. They replaced it with a far inferior product. This belt was absolutely not even in the same realm of the one I purchased. It was an extremely thin and flexible belt that can’t even handle a small knife let alone a holster. In the time of them honoring the warranty I was pleased enough to place another order before I received the replacement to find out about the inferior product. I purchased a spare buckle since the existing buckle was used and worn, a watch band, and a key organizer. I enjoy the watch band. The spare buckle isn’t being used because I can’t use the warranty replacement belt. The key organizer is garbage. I left a review on their website and they didn’t post it. So here I am. As soon as I opened the key organizer, I knew immediately what it would do. It's held on by a screw.. Like all things held on by a screw that move, jiggle, rotate, etc.... that screw comes loose.. But I gave the thing the benefit of the doubt.. No place on the product page does it show a screw, say anything about a screw, or have a picture of it. Or else I wouldn't have purchased it... 3 days after wearing it, I hear a bunch of clanging like metal hitting the ground at work.. Sure enough, that screw came loose... Thankfully I was at work and not at the golf course.. I put some blue loctite on it to see if that would do the trick.. Nope, it came loose 2 days after.. So it's in the junk drawer.. You can’t buy your way out of this one. You can though, stop being a shady company and post the review on your site.

I was excited about my first 2 complete belts from SlideBelts. The process of purchasing and the customer service is great. I encountered some issues with one of the belts because the buckle become loose and it didn’t remained locked, but due to the double locking system, the belts was still on place. I reported this to SlideBelts and they offered a replacement through their guarantee.But one thing that I didn’t like at all was the shipping and tracking process, it was the most terrible thing I have faced and I ordered a few things along the years. I’m located in Romania and I know that International Shipping isn’t the best, but here USPS and their local partners did a terrible job (it took 2 months to receive my initial order and one month for the replacement). They didn’t included my phone number on the package so I almost lost my order the first time, which happened with the replacement order… because post offices have a retention period of 10 days here in Romania. Also one thing to be kept in mind by international customers, you will pay taxes when you pick up your order from the post office because SlideBelts is not taking care of those outside US.

The problem with these belts is that they will not wear out! I have worn two of them for over four years now. I have new ones in my closet and most likely they will be worn by my heirs.

I'm rating two stars based on two main reasons:1. I ordered the survival belt and found that the release lever would not stay retracted. Customer service was very good and sent two replacements, but unfortunately both of those did the same thing. Slidebelts is having issues with the levers staying in place.2. I wrote the company president, and at first, his responses were very thoughtful. The problem came when he offered to send me a free survival belt because of the problems I'd been having, but after I accepted his offer, I never heard back from him.If this is the kind of leadership this company has, I will never order from this company again.UPDATE 6/7: This update is in response to the company’s reply. They mentioned that I preferred a refund in lieu of a belt replacement. Here’s what happened: Customer service sent me THREE survival buckles, all of which had the same defect. After the third buckle, I figured that another one would be the same, so why bother, and at that point, I asked for, and received, a full refund, but that’s not the issue. When I wrote the CEO, I advised him in no uncertain terms that I had returned everything that had been shipped to me (and again, I was refunded in full), but even with that, he offered me a free belt. Not sure… maybe he didn’t read that part of my message. If there comes a time when they can resolve the issues with the buckles (which they are aware), I would not mind trying it again. I just need to make sure the design works properly.
