HORRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY WHEN THEY DON’T HONOR A $45.05 2 YEAR WARRANTY ON A $50 EBAY PURCHASE!!!

Worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. And the thing that makes it the most annoying is that it was over a $45.05 item and I had to chase it for months and still didn’t get it. I ordered a hand BB gun powered by CO2 from eBay for $45.05 and I bought a two year warranty through Allstate from eBay also for $2.99. I did it because I know BB guns are cheap and they’re known for breaking so I figured, why not pay under $5 for two years of safety. Well after a year, the BB gun broke and stopped working altogether. I contacted Allstate and the first time I spoke to someone probably for 45 minutes on the phone until they told me that I had the wrong department. That was really annoying because I spent almost an hour on the phone so then he connected me with the proper department. After I was transferred to someone new, I again took 20 minutes or so to explain my situation in detail and the Allstate agent stated they couldn’t give me my warranty money for $45.05 for the broken BB gun because it was still under the 1 year manufacturer’s warranty and that I had to go through them because only after my factory warranty expires will my Allstate after market warranty kick in. I again, had to explain that I paid for the 2 year Allstate warranty because the BB gun was long past its manufacturer’s warranty of one year. I explained for the third time that the BB gun was purchased off of someone on eBay and even though the BB gun was still brand new in the package, the purchase date was over 5 years old according to the seller, hence why I paid for the after market warranty through Allstate from the eBay app. So after dealing with the aggravation of being on the phone for well over an hour and having to speak to multiple people, I couldn’t get the situation straightened out and was told to call back to speak to a manager the following week, which I did so approximately a week or two later, I don’t know the exact time frame, but it was within a month. I called back and spoke to someone new and I had to speak to that person for about a half hour. They couldn’t help me and said that my warranty expired. I explained to them that I filed the claim before the date of expiration, and I was told again that he couldn’t help me because it was expired and he just wouldn’t listen to me when I told him that I’ve already spoken to several people in the past, and I already filed a claim, and I provided him with the claim number. Customer Service is absolutely abhorrent with this company. I want my $45.05 that’s the only solution I am willing to accept. I made a legitimate purchase off of eBay, paid for a 2 year after market Allstate warranty to cover the BB gun, it broke within a year and I filed a claim and went through all the proper procedural steps, was given the run around by several different agents from Allstate Insurance, and never received my reparation for my malfunctioning BB gun. I’m not willing to talk, email, or deal with any Allstate agents again unless it’s to receive my rightfully deserved compensation for my product malfunction covered under their insurance policy. Any other inquiries from Allstate will be ignored. I have nothing more to say to them. I’ve already gone through the annoyingly time consuming process over the phone to no avail and no help whatsoever from anyone working at Allstate. I don’t have time in my busy life nor the patience to deal with dishonest and unprofessional people.

Wasted claim

I was sent a voucher digitally and when it was time for me to use it, I couldn't find it because of the over 20,000 emails in my inbox. When I asked if they could resend it, I heard from noone.

Horrid Company

Horrid company to deal with. Paid the monthly insurance on an iPhone for 2.5 years. When we finally needed the coverage, they sent us a refurbished phone with non-Apple parts so the phone didn't work correctly. It completely failed on us about 6 weeks after receiving from Allstate. They told us the "new" phone was only protected for 30 days and told us to pound sand. To make matters a tad worse, we would've received a much better price on a new phone traded in with AT&T on the original phone, but Allstate has that one now! All in all this is the single worst company we've ever encountered. It should be illegal how they conduct business, if you call it that. Highly unethical, and cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

poor corporate resolution team

They called and said they'd resolve the issue. I got three calls from an Anna at corporate resolutions. No phone number. I go into an abyss of prompts from an AI phone number. Said they would send an email too. No emails in inbox or junk mail. Another fail by squaretrade/Allstate.

Walmart protection by Allstate

At first, I contacted them by phone, but unfortunately the person who assisted me was not able to solve my problem. Later, I was contacted via email and my experience completely changed. The team reached out with great professionalism, willingness to help, and genuine kindness.They carefully reviewed my case, stayed in communication, and guided me through the process step by step. In the end, they resolved my problem and approved a replacement for my TV.I truly appreciate the support and the way they handled everything after the first inconvenience. Thank you for making things right and for the excellent customer service.

I have had several different plans and…

I have had several different plans and and have not had any help with them I buy things and never get the correct replacement or help needed this is a joke. I pay for protection to be able to get what I pay for. This has not been the case
