SCAM

For anyone still wondering, StyleKorean is a scam.I made an order and within an hour realized that I would like to amend it, so I cancel order thinking I quickly get my money unfrozen and order again… right? Wrong! It’s been almost a month and dispute ongoing with PayPal(my method of paying) the only time they replied is trying to convince me to cancel my claim or they won’t be able to process me order. That’s it! On their website the order is clearly stated as canceled, the customer support there doesn’t exist, it’s a standardized message and on dispute they wait until last possible minute, and send bogus tracking number that is: 0000 shipped by Sweden! I am not, and never was! I don’t know anyone in Sweden! The whole situation is absurd! Save yourself some time, money and nerve cells, stay away from this website

Hidden costs and zero responce

I had to pay the Import Fee around 27 Euro for an order of 60 USD.This was not mentioned any where and was a very negative surprise.I asked in the app to give me a Feedback on this issue, but till now I dont have any answer.The price have hiddn negative surprise and the response is just zero

The reviews really concerned me, but...

After a lot of careful consideration, I decided to place an order. I am so glad that I did. I ordered the Glow Box that they are currently promoting. 16 skin care products for $60. I placed the order on the 18th of March and received it in Ireland on the 23rd. I did have to pay a customs fee though, which was disappointing but unavoidable. Everything arrived packaged extremely well and to be expected. Each product was contained within its own sealed box. I am so happy with my order and how everything went.

so many black market illegal languages: 변태 변태색기 변기통 변이 돌연변이바이러쓰 변질. These are EXTREMELY bad words like NEGR*, so bad not even used. but they're publishing it in korean library dictionaries, illegally too. Korean dictionary companies , and Squid Game need to be fined trillions and trillions of dollars.People really get murdered, or commit suicides for using these blackmarket languages, even assassinated and they know it. It means *'ll kill you in english, and mincemeat murder you. very inappropriate. South Korean dictionary companies go to hell for intentionally plotting and scheming.These guys are selling off ancestral names they don't even own on top.In Squid Game by directors and actors, these words were used to go order little children to kill people like in Sweden. All the people with last names lee, park, and kim gets 김치, 이금, 이천재, most important person, or better people than people with other last names.all these are BSThey've been intentionally doing all this for over 25 years.-30 stars.

HORRIBLE DO NOT SHOP

I have had many issues with the orders and the site but always assigned them to something. But with the latest box where you could also get a medicube device, is where everything changed for me. I thought this might have been a scam and that they will send it to influencers to review so the rest purchase (might they have almost doubled the costs of the boxes, or at least increased it with 30%). I ordered 3 boxes thinking such a great way to make some people happy and maybe also get at 1 device. Needless to say i did not get any and i when researched i realised that this one was one big fat lie. They manipulate customers and i was one of these fools. I think the whole marketing they do is beyond horrible and questionable. Would not purchase. They increase pricing for things that you can find for better price. All the value they claim does not exist. What they do is double the price of some things so it seems you are getting a good value when you are actually getting like 30% off. For them to sell great stock. Super disappointed in myself that i have pend so much money with them.

Prices may look affordable, but be wary

I've made multiple orders with StyleKorean over the last couple of years and have been excited to try the great selection of products. Products are a hit-or-miss but overall, pretty good. My complaint is about the terrible customer service for SK, it is non-existent, they do not care, and it really shows from their lack of response. I had a rather large order of $200+ that wouldn't be delivered to me, first time this has happened, and wanted customer service to answer a few questions. I emailed about 4-5x before I got any type of response. This was a span of 3 months before my cc approved my claim and saw that there was zero movement on shipment tracker. While I understand they cannot control tariffs or shipping time, getting a customer service agent to respond was almost impossible. StyleKorean provided no updates what could or would happen, zero apology, and barely looked at my emails (they even close my cases without a response which is why I kept messaging). This was a delivery service they selected to work with, and as a shopper, I trusted SK to be professional enough to reach out to their clients who had issues with orders. If you check their IG you will see purchasers have even taken to msging in the comments to get someone to even respond with the same issue of undelivered orders. Finally, once my cc sided with me, only then did SK send a message saying they're approving a refund.. I have now just checked my StyleKorean account to see I've been blacklisted from future purchases even though their lack of customer service was their f*** up - zero accountability or professionalism. I guess they have enough purchasers that they really don't care to burn customers with fluid past purchase history.

Charges extra as 'taxes' but then forces you to pay again or parcel is destroyed and you are NOT entitled to a refund!

I had been using Stylekorean for a while to purchase orders (2yrs+) without many issues (sometimes items arrive damaged or broken and mostly this was sorted out through a refund in store credit). However, the issues with my most recent orders are too much!I am based in the UK and with the UK, when you select shipping, Stylekorean will add a VAT charge on top of the item total. So I expect not need to pay VAT when receiving my parcels, however, my last couple of orders (I stock up during the Xmas sales), I pay for the order with the VAT surcharge as per normal, but when they arrive in the UK, DHL sends me a VAT bill and holds the parcels unless the bill is paid (20% +£11 handling fee).I have clarified with DHL this is due to Stylekorean filling in the customs forms as VAT is unpaid and will be paid by the customer (me!). I explain to them the issue and they confirm that I should contact the seller to correct the customs forms as the bill is only VAT related.I then contact Stylekorean and they keep sending the same copied and pasted response that the customers are responsible for customs duties. I have contacted them multiple times now about this issue and provided them with screenshots and proof and explained to them the situation using the Chatbot (they do not have an email or phone number to call) and every single response is the same copied and pasted or it is entirely ignored and they mark as 'case closed'.Stylekorean policies say that if the parcel is not delivered or destroyed by the courier, I will not be entitled to a refund or replacement products.I will never order from Stylekorean again and I will be filing a charge back with Paypal of all the screenshots and evidence I have. AVOID ordering! Customer service is terrible and they will charge you 'taxes' that you have to double pay.Update March 26:The claim I made with Paypal was declined initially, however, during the claim Stylekorean provided the tracking details and did not bother contacting me in any way. They then requested DHL to destroy the parcel during the investigation and I got no notifications (even though I had arranged with DHL to hold the parcel until I had sorted out the issue). I reopened the claim to Paypal and they closed it in my favour.Again, please avoid ordering in case this happens as it is actually illegal to collect VAT from customers and then make the customer pay it again! Sketchy behaviour overall and no customer care at all!

1 star is to much for this company!

Uk buyer, dont waste your money on these clowns! My order never even got despatched, their customer never replied to one of my messages but they were happy to take my money! Absolutely awful company! I think they actually sell things they haven't got in stock and then cant send them out! Ill stick with yesstyle in future! Luckily i paid with PayPal so i was able to get a refund via them

Do not order from StyleKorean

Do not order from StyleKorean! Ordered Advent Calendar ($180 US) on November 7. Received order confirmation email with FedEx tracking number November 10. FedEx tracking showed that by November 12 package was in Newark NJ airport with a status of “Clearance delay - Import”. That status has not changed! It’s been two months since ordering what was to be a Christmas present. I have contacted StyleKorean customer service numerous times by email and phone without any resolution. I have now requested a refund since Christmas has past and that has not happened. StyleKorean has no respect for their customers.
