DO NOT purchase from this VERILUX site. Their return policies are pathetic. Takes months for refund, that too after the item reaches the company and deducting the return courier chrgs. if ur not sure of the item, don't purchase, as their descriptions are not genuine. what if the item reaches their shop and our money isnt returned. Better use AMAZON, for safer returns.

On the Verilux Smartlight Productivity Lamp VD12, the advertised 10,000 hours of lightbulb use is a joke and a lie. I would have had to use the lamp daily for at least 10years to meet this longevity standard, not even possible. Of course this practically new lamp is now discontinued, and Verilux conveniently does not sell a replacement bulb for it even though it is not an ancient lamp! Hapless buyers ( that's me) have to "possibly use a 27 watt bulb from a different brand" !!!!! in order to keep this plastic lamp out of the landfill. Which brand? Who knows!!! So much for saving the environment or whatever, with nonincandescent lamps. So Verilux tweaked a new similar lamp with a Different Bulb instead of allowing customers to keep their original investment and buy a replacement bulb for the earlier product. What was wrong with their earlier lamp? Except for the bulb, nothing at all. Actually, their site does not even offer replacement bulbs, that's how concerned they are about having a great product and satisfied customers. Disgusted.

I placed an order that was never fulfilled, and despite providing screenshots proving this, Verilux refused to cancel it. They also refused to honor the free-shipping banner displayed on their own website for orders over $60, using “conversion rate” as an excuse instead of standing behind their advertised offer.Customer service was essentially nonexistent—days without replies, no real help, and the supposed “manager escalation” led absolutely nowhere. For a company selling wellness products, the lack of basic customer care is surprising

I am extremely disappointed with my purchase from Verilux. I ordered the ZORBES Replacement Ear Pads for JBL Headphones, which were clearly advertised as compatible with multiple JBL models, including the JBL 770NC. However, the ear pads I received do NOT fit my JBL 770NC at all. The size, clips, and alignment are completely off, making them impossible to use.This is extremely misleading product advertising. I wasted time and money on something that doesn’t work, and the product description is not accurate.I am requesting a full refund immediately, as the item is unusable and not as described. I hope Verilux improves their quality control and stops listing incompatible products as “universal fit.”

I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars, because after having no response from customer service, leaving a 1 star review here definitely got their attention and I then got the type of customer service I had always gotten in the past with Verilux. They were not only attentive to my needs, but actually gave me a happy light for my troubles. Their happy lights have always been reliable and effective for me, so I recommend them.The reason I'm witholding the 5th star is that I did let them know about a problem with attempting to replace a bulb on one of their old lights. The bulb in question was the CFS26GU24VLX, which is no longer made, but a few companies claim to make aftermarket equivalents. However, the bases on these equivalents are too large and do not fit into Verilux lamps. I hope Verilux will take my advice and warn owners of these older lamps that the bulbs they attempt to buy may not fit and they may have a hard time getting refunds from these other companies, but I'm not sure they'll do anything. They should. Old customers are still customers. That's why this review is 4 stars rather than 5. If they give me evidence that they've made an effort to mitigate this issue, I'll happily give them that 5th star.

I purchased the Happy Light a few weeks ago, but am trying to return it and the company has stopped responding in the matter. I asked for a refund and they countered to offer a replacement. When I replied confirming that I simply want to return it for a refund, I got no further reply. I have initiated communication 2 more times to jo avail. This is only the 2nd time I have ever written a negative review of an experience with a company.

I purchased a HappyLight Duo 2-in-1 Light Therapy & Task Floor Lamp from Verilux. The pole doesn't fit securely inside the base and is wobbly. The light switch doesn't work with my wall switch. The quality of the lamp doesn't merit the $129.99 cost. I couldn't return it and I wasn't given any partial refund for an inferior product. I left an honest review on their website that wasn't posted. The website only features 5 star reviews.

I wish I had read these recent reviews before I ordered from their website. I've been waiting for my purchase since July 1 and two weeks later they're just now giving me an estimated delivery date of July 20. They tried to blame UPS and "unprecedented shipping volumes" but I do plenty of online shopping and I'm receiving much larger orders in no time.Edit: I didn't think it could any worse, but they won't even pay for the shipping for me to return it after it arrived so late that I've already purchased a replacement.

I’m really surprised by good reviews about customer service! İf you have a return or a normal problem that can actually be solved by automatic support emails, go for it.But if not, you are all alone after your purchase. I’ve read good reviews about this product and instead of ordering any other brand from uk, l wanted to go for this and ordered to my friend who was gonna be in us for for 10 days. I’ve contacted the company to explain this but still the order arrived so late( don’t understand how) my friend returned and l ended up paying that much money and not recieving my order. I’ve been writing the customer support to get a refund but they don’t even bother reading customer mails, they keep on sending me automatic support emails saying that ‘’ pack the item in its original packing and send it back’ .For god sake, how can l even send a product that l haven’t even recieved!!! Can you at least read the customer emails than send a meaningful reply🙈Worst decision ever ordering from them. İts not about me having a personal issue, its the quality of the service you will get. There are many other good brands for sad lamps ,buy from them at least you’ll have a better support there is a problem!!
