Dodgy exchange rates and fees way too high
Great products but very greedy company with too many fees and a dodgy exchange rate. I will avoid future purchases with Vestiaire. Cannot even buy two products from same seller without paying twice for shipping. It used to be great but not after all the changes.

This has been one of the best online shopping experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Particularly, in regard to buying from a third-party seller. I appreciate the continuous assurance and updates the company provides when it comes to the purchased item(s). The app itself is able to relay information on timestamps and authentication, which I find to be relieving and helpful. Everything is all in one place. I’m excited to continue using Vestiare for more rare finds.

Vestiaire Collective broke my Alexander McQueen handbag during authentication and refuses to take responsibility.
I purchased a bag through their platform via direct shipping. I had authenticity doubts so Vestiaire sent me a label to ship the bag to their facility. They confirmed it was genuine and I requested it be returned.It arrived with the chain handle completely broken off. The sealed packaging was undamaged. An independent witness was present when I opened the box. The Vestiaire inspection tag was loose inside the box (not on the bag) and stamped "REJECTED" — something they never told me. They also found mold inside the bag and didn't inform me.Vestiaire claims CCTV shows the handle was fine when packed but cannot explain how it broke inside a sealed, undamaged box. If the handle was intact, the tag would still be attached. They offered me a 10% discount voucher as "goodwill."I have filed formal complaints with consumer protection authorities. Ref #57520861.
