I had an extremely disappointing stay…Fort Lauderdale tamarac location

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The property was poorly maintained, with dirty carpets and peeling paint throughout. The room itself was unacceptable, with black beetles found on the floor, creating an unsanitary environment. The pool remained dirty for the entire duration of my stay, showing a lack of proper upkeep. Additionally, the experience with staff was troubling—night auditor Colleen was disrespectful and displayed racist behavior, while the security guard, James, was asleep at his post. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and reflects serious issues with both cleanliness and professionalism.

I am a 74-year-old woman who was…

I am a 74-year-old woman who was deceived into purchasing a Wyndham timeshare contract I never would have agreed to had I been given accurate information. In May 2025, I attended what was advertised as a one-hour presentation at the Las Vegas property in exchange for a show ticket. Instead, I was subjected to over four hours of high-pressure tactics. I repeatedly declined but was worn down and persuaded to sign. I was never informed of Nevada's 5-day rescission period — a legally required disclosure — which I would have used immediately. Key facts were deliberately withheld: that my 150,000 points cover only 2 weeks per year, that $150/month maintenance fees increase annually, and that cleaning fees apply to all reservations. I was rushed through signing without time to review documents. I was later pressured into an upgrade that increased my debt from ~$20,000 to $56,000 and my monthly payments from $400 to $992. Again, no rescission rights were disclosed. Across four salespeople and multiple transactions, no one mentioned my legal right to cancel. I was also misled about resale value ("real property you can leave to heirs”) yet these contracts sell online for as little as $0.99. Hidden costs like RCI fees, parking charges, and membership fees were never mentioned. I have formally requested full contract cancellation and a complete refund. This company exploits seniors through deliberate omissions and deceptive practices. Buyer beware.

Sleeping under a tree. Ty wyndham

Im literally sleeping outside, under a tree. I purchased points on March 25, 2026. The points were added to my account instantly. I used the points to book a room for that night. So, on March 26th, I purchased points again, to save money. Immediately, I received a text telling me i have to wait 72 hours to receive my points. I cant afford to get a room because Wyndham has my money in their points, which they won't give me for 3 days. This should be illegal.

MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD: Salmonella Poisoning at Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc – Corporate Negligence

I am writing this to alert the global travel community and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Corporate HQ about a life-threatening incident involving my 2.5-year-old son at the Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc, Vietnam. Our son was clinically diagnosed with Salmonella (confirmed by Vinmec International Hospital, Receipt No. R4400-2026-00014432) after consuming spoiled, fermented watermelon at the hotel’s Nautilus Restaurant. Despite clear medical evidence and prescriptions for specific antibiotics (Mecefix-B.E) used for bacterial infections like Salmonella, the hotel management has officially denied all liability.Key Failures of this 5-Star Property:1. Food Safety Breach: Serving spoiled food to a minor is a gross violation of international health standards (HACCP).2. Gross Negligence in Service: When our sick child had an accident at 05:30 AM, it took the hotel staff OVER 4 HOURS to replace the soiled mattress. My toddler was forced to remain in unsanitary conditions until nearly 10:00 AM while management ignored our urgent calls.3. Lack of Accountability: Instead of taking responsibility, the hotel offered "soup and pizza" as a solution. They are protecting their "statistics" over the safety of a child. This experience has completely tarnished the Wyndham Grand brand for us. A "Luxury" tier hotel that poisons a child and then denies medical facts is not a safe place for families. We have escalated this matter to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) and Wyndham Global Corporate.DO NOT TRUST THIS PROPERTY WITH YOUR FAMILY’S HEALTH.

"Vacation package" misrepresented

"Vacation package" misrepresentedThey called to offer a vacation package for $200. No blackout dates, limited locations. Not actually available for the date + location I wanted, needed additional $200+ to book alternate dates that partially overlapped, overall total BS. Harassed me repeatedly with e-mails and phone calls even after I told them to stop calling me and stop e-mailing me.

Mediocre at best and charging more than big city premium rates at high end hotels

Staying in half-assed mediocre hotels because I'm forced to due to my sales area, doesn't mean that this being the high-end hotel in these areas is offering high-end service

Wyndham la vita rawai phuket the worst, finds each possible way to earn money..

This Wyndham la vita rawai hotel Phuket , unfortunately has the worst possible strategy to get each penny from their cusotmers, they were requested to cancell my reservation for the middle east war as I live in qatar, I had to cancell the trip. Anyway my airline ticket was on 29th of March ,I think they probably live in a cave and not aware of the closure of airspace and suspension of regular flghts, i am telling this because they kept asking for proof of flght cancelletion which is simply ridiculous, I hate dishonest people and thats whh I am writing this here, just could have told me that we will not give any refund according to T&C.A very nice and small property like Yamma hotel gave me the refund without any explanation for the same trip.So guys rhere are good and bad both in thailand.. just be careful and check beofre going in to a property.

They will try and scam you into buying…

They will try and scam you into buying into their time share. Giving you ways to help pay for the monthly cost and then tell you this can not be done and now your locked into a contract you can't get out of

Thieves and liars!!

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts company is a bunch of LIARS and THIEVES!! After agreeing to a "Wyndham Rewards" member price ($99, a $20 is discount per night) with central reservations, I was charged the standard price. All I'm looking for is my $40 back (2 nights) on principal. I have been calling the company for a MONTH now and this time they told me that their "specialty team" reviewed the recording of my call and determined that I had agreed to the price of $119 per night. OF COURSE! They can say that all they want! Who else can hear the recording? They can make up anything they want to!! It is an absolute LIE. I asked to speak to the customer service rep's supervisor. Her: I am a supervisor. Me: please let me speak to YOUR supervisor. Her: the next level is the "property management team" Me: Great, give me their number! Her: (gives me the number for the hotel we stayed at.)Me: this is just the hotel's numberHer: yes, ma'am, that is the next levelMe: 😡 I need to speak to someone at corporate. I have already spoken to the hotel who told me to call you. Her: I told you ma'am, our specialty team has reviewed your call and found that you agreed to the price of $119.Me: that is NOT true, did they listen to the whole call? I would like to hear that call. Her: I'm sorry, there is nothing else I can do for you. I will need to disconnect this call now. (Hangs up)Me: 😡😡😡 REALLY?!! THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR REWARD MEMBERS?!?!?! I don't care about the money, it's about the principal. I do understand why their company is that hard up for money... no one wants to stay at their hotels because they are DIRTY THIEVES.

Holiday from hell

Holiday from hell, Golf del Sur, Tenerife. Dirty apartment, bed damp, dirty bedding, mattress covered in vomit and excrement, dangerous electrics, blocked dirty shower traps, thick dust under bed, worst holiday ever, spent all week in tears. A lot of apologies from provider and substantial refund after seeing the photographs which do not lie, truly disgusting but did not make up for the appalling treatment by the staff. Had clean apartments previously when staying there so know what it should have been like. It should have been condemmed
