Terrible! Wrong product was sent, and they said it’s the same

The package arrived on schedule according to the tracking details. Unfortunately, one bag of chips had burst open during transit, scattering contents throughout the box.

I ordered a product the photo looked exactly what I wanted. I get the item in the mail. It’s not the same thing So when I reached out to them and said hey, I just want to return it unopened undamaged it isn’t what I’m looking for. It’s not the same thing they said the barcode matches the product it doesn’t but ok they pretty much said to bad for me. Scum bags if ya ask me

I used to love this brand and bought from them often, but the quality has dropped. The products don’t always match what’s shown online, and customer service pushes back even when you show proof. Lately, a lot of items have been shipping with expiration dates as close as 30 days.

While their selection and prices for a huge variety of imported foods are arguably great, I can no longer be a regular Yummy Bazaar customer b/c their excessive packaging and total disregard for its environmental impact is unconscionable. I have been writing them for years asking them to stop swathing items in layers and layers of bubble wrap, even small tins of fish and sturdy cookie tins. My recent 12-item order, no kidding, included 152 inches of bubble wrap for 3 small items, only 2 of which were glass + 100 inches for a tin of cookies + 164 inches for 2 single-size drinks...a total of 400 inches or 33+ feet of bubble wrap! This does not even include the several pieces of wrap stuffed in the carton. Today I received a back order from Williams Sonoma, an 8 oz. glass jar, tossed loose in a carton with some brown paper, no wrapping at all, and it was fine. As consumers we can signal to companies that we do not condone such wastefulness by shopping elsewhere. I plan to use YB's website as I use Amazon, to find items and then purchase them in person elsewhere. Btw my local UPS store accepts bubble wrap for reuse.

They had promo code on their website for buy one subscription box and get one free. When I went to apply the promo code, it didn't work. I reached out to customer service and they said their code ended in 2023, we are in April 2024 and they are promoting false advertisement? Didn't even offer to honor the coupon code for their mistake. Will take my business elsewhere, no need to get scammed here

Yummy Bazaar has changed. They no longer offer products that I had been ordering for years. A lot of products have been substituted for products of lesser quality. I gone from orders every month to maybe an order once a quarter. I'm quite disappointed, what was once a reliable provider has become a once every so often supplier. Looking for a supplier to replace Yummy

Yummy Bazaar has changed. They no longer offer products that I had been ordering for years. Albert Menes, Borgo de Medici have been substituted for products of lesser quality. I gone from orders every two months to maybe an order once a quarter. I'm quite disappointed, what was once a reliable provider has become a once every so often supplier. Looking for a supplier to replace Yummy Bazaar.

I have been ordering from Yummy Bazaar on average twice a month in the past two or three years. Typically I order toward the end of the week, and the package is delivered to my door the next Wednesday or Thursday. I order mostly when they offer free shipping for orders of $49 or more. When ordering chocolate (Zanzibar mostly -- so good!) in the warmer months, they warned me that they will not take it back if it melts during shipping, and asked if I really wanted to order it. If I order crackers or cookies (those made in Europe have less sugar) some arrive broken -- I think that is quite normal, and really no big deal as the pieces are just as good. The problem, right now, is their supply lines. It looks as if they were unable to get restocked (although I saw some of the items they sell at a local 'gourmet' grocery store). Is someone trying to get Yummy Bazaar out of business? No way to know, I am just a customer.Another thing in favor of Yummy Bazaar: they never asked me to tip their employees: this may be a more recent trend. On a recent order from Supermarket Italy (I believe it had to be over $80), I was asked to tip their employees, and I refused to do so. If they can't pay their staff, they should not be in business. So, I hope Yummy Bazaar manages (is allowed?) to restock soon. Meanwhile, I will make do with what I find at Kroger's and other local places.
