Zooplus great - Courier terrible

I am always very happy with Zooplus products. However, they are using Evri couriers who are totally unreliable. My last few orders have arrived very late or damaged. I had already informed them of this previously, and I believe many customers have had similar delivery issues too.Sadly, if they won't change courier, it may be time for me to use another supplier.

Normally excellent, this time not so great.

I think it's important to be honest. I usually have a great experience with this company, I usually tick the box for a 'greener' delivery. But this time, my delivery was split in 2, the first delivery was fine, the second was very delayed, I had to contact them to ask (they claimed they had a few delays because of Easter, but they could have reached out to me to let me know it would be late. I contacted them multiple times they just fobbed me off by saying there were some delays, no compensation. Could do better.

Zooplus lost me after 4 years as a customer. They pushed up their subscription pricing beyond what feels remotely justified, and a quick comparison showed I can save £100+ a year by moving to Animed.Amazing strategy: punish loyal customers until they leave. Congrats to the Zooplus marketing team and management.

Great to buy Cat food in bulk!

Discovered the site by chance whilst looking for cat food to feed my greedy spoiled cats. Very convent and cheaper that searching supermarket shelves where the price always varies. The items I order arrived with 24 hours, in my case I use Perle wet cat food, and it's delivered by DPD, and I'm very happy with their service too, see my review on here for the driver who covers my area! If you have a regular order you can apply for a discount code!

Unreliable deliveries

Ordered hypoallergenic cat food and paid for delivery on a specific day. That was yesterday. It is still not with DPD. Went through customer service which I presume is AI as I received a stock answer that put it down to busy delivery period. If they are under too much pressure to get the orders out, why are you able to choose a specific day? If I had gone for a normal delivery and it took longer due to busy period, then I would have to accept that. But when you pay for a specific day, that should be a guarantee. I have now had to source food else where that has put me out of pocket for the month as I cannot risk feeding an ordinary diet in between a hypoallergenic one (it defeats the whole purpose of paying a lot of money for a prescription diet) I will not be purchasing from Zooplus again.

Orders always arrive in good time and…

Orders always arrive in good time and well packaged, i do like the rewards scheme so every so often my cats get free treats or toys. One downside is that the barrage of offers I'm forever being sent don't apply to subscription items, therefore will be cancelling and just ordering as needed or shopping around.

Been ordering from Zooplus for a while. On this particular occasion I was buying for my dog who had been put on a hypoallergenic diet. Quick delivery and good price

Zooplus rat infested food

Customer no 53736521, order 440936716. My premium petfood was delivered on 7th April after a delay of 8 days. The box was damp and smelly and the food had been eaten and was contaminated by rodents. The corners of the bags were chewed, food spilled, the bags and box covered in urine and the faeces of rats. The stench was rancid and meant a deep clean of my kitchen table and floor. The box had been taped to conceal the infestation. Zooplus are yet to offer refund or a replacement despite several emails.
