Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- Verify that you copied the entire code correctly without extra spaces or characters, as even small typos will prevent the code from working.
- Check the offer terms to confirm the code applies to your items, as many promotions exclude certain product categories or brands.
- Ensure your order meets any minimum purchase requirement the code may have by reviewing the promotion details carefully.
- Confirm the code has not expired by checking the offer expiration date listed with the promotion.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try entering the code again, as technical glitches sometimes prevent valid codes from processing.
- Contact Imperfect Foods customer service if the code should work but continues to be rejected after trying these steps.

Imperfect Foods Reviews
Imperfect Foods receives sharply divided reviews, with 17 shoppers rating it 3.1 out of 5. A significant group of five-star reviewers praise the service, though specific positive details are limited in recent feedback. However, a substantial portion of reviewers report serious ongoing issues: customers who were loyal for years describe a sharp decline following the Misfits Market merger, citing dramatically reduced produce quality, expired or spoiled items arriving regularly, and a shift to AI-only customer support with response times of four to five days. Multiple reviewers note that damaged or missing items are frequent, and packaging collection promises are not being fulfilled.
Additional complaints center on pricing that has become uncompetitive compared to local alternatives, particularly problematic for budget-conscious shoppers. Order accuracy problems, lack of apologies despite refunds, and an inability to view pricing without reactivating dormant accounts frustrate returning customers. The consensus among recent negative reviewers is that service quality has deteriorated markedly, with several stating they cannot recommend the company and have stopped ordering despite previous satisfaction.
I loved this company for six years straight, but the last few months have been awful, especially after the Misfits Market merger. They fired their entire support team and put in an AI chatbot instead. There's technically an email support option, but getting a response takes four or five days. I've had deliveries rescheduled twice only to get ghosted for days while I sat around waiting. Their answer was a measly $15 credit, despite me spending nearly ten grand with them over six years. They charged my card $250 for a delivery and it never showed up with zero communication from anyone. The chatbot kept saying it'd arrive by 9pm all day long. After 9pm, it suddenly said I can't request a refund until after 5pm the next day. I shouldn't have to spend $250 on food just sitting on a truck.
I've been using this company for years but stopped ordering because as someone on a fixed income, it got too pricey compared to local options. They keep sending me these half-off coupon emails. When I tried logging in to check current prices, I realized I couldn't see anything without reactivating my account first. So I had no choice but to sign back up just to look. The prices turned out to be crazy high, so I cancelled within minutes and got a confirmation email. Then a week later I got a message saying my payment failed and to update my card immediately. Good thing for me they were charging an old card I'd already deactivated, but I've read on sites like the BBB that they're doing this same thing to lots of other people. Looking at similar complaints, it really seems like they're doing this intentionally.
Really let down because this isn't actually sustainable. They don't collect their packaging like they're supposed to, and the produce doesn't seem to be actually rescued. I complained multiple times about taking back my packaging, but nothing ever changed. Skip this service.
We were happy with this service during the pandemic, satisfied with quality even if product availability was spotty and we occasionally got damaged stuff. After they merged with Misfits Market, everything got worse. First, produce quality dropped off completely. Every week I'm getting items that are expired or spoiled when they arrive. Second, prices went up everywhere. Third, tips get automatically added to every order and you have to manually delete them each time. Just pay your staff and roll it into the total. Fourth, there's no phone support anymore. Email and chat are your only options. Fifth, nothing gets fixed when you raise an issue. They just read you the same script every time about bringing it to some department and throw $5 or $10 at you. I cancelled this week and once I get my refund I'm asking them to wipe my data from their system completely.
I can't recommend this service. Throughout my time ordering, I kept running into problems like messed up orders, items showing up broken or missing, and damaged packages. They're supposed to collect and recycle their packaging but regularly don't. I had to reach out to their support team constantly. They gave me refunds when I asked, but never apologized or made any real changes. I tried them many times and did appreciate their product selection and fresh produce. Then my latest delivery came with a dozen cracked eggs that leaked raw egg all through everything else, and my frozen items weren't even cold when they arrived. It's just not worth dealing with these issues on nearly every shipment.
I've given this company multiple shots but the produce quality just hasn't been there. I work with a food pantry and we wouldn't pass along some of what they're charging for. Prices aren't competitive and they clearly don't have quality standards in place. I've gotten rotten, spoiled, and inedible items several times. A guacamole I bought last week was already bad. Cucumbers were either frozen or super old, hard to tell which, but totally unusable. I ordered Romanesco and it showed up rotten with black spots all over. I also hate how they pre-fill your cart with stuff you have to remove if you don't want it. And a lot of things I'd actually like to buy are out of stock. It's just disappointing. I've tried them three different times and it's the same problems every single time. I can't tell people this is worth it for groceries. Orders do arrive on time and packed well, but the actual food quality is really below par.
I've been shopping with them for about nine months and had only minor issues. Usually if something's not in stock I get a heads up. The worst was when they straight up forgot to pack my box one week, so I had no groceries that day. That really sucked since I pretty much only shop there. I do love their selection though, especially with all the new options from the Misfits merger. So many more choices now!
This company was fantastic until about a month ago. Lately orders show up a day late with no notification, my last three orders were basically nothing like what I requested, and most recently a raw chicken package arrived completely open and leaked everywhere across my vegetables. Their customer service still hasn't gotten back to me. Given that Misfits just took over, I don't see things improving since I had ongoing problems with them too. Save yourself some money because you'll probably end up throwing most of it away.
I'm consistently satisfied with the selection of foods and how smoothly my deliveries arrive.
Similar to what other people are saying, I got charged for a box I never requested. I had to enter my card just to browse their products and pricing, and then suddenly I was charged. They did refund the box amount later, which I appreciated. Still, I'm not going to use them again.
The Yo Mama's Caesar dressing was absolutely disgusting! Either it was expired or someone dumped way too much vinegar in there. We all had to toss our whole meals because it made everything inedible. Imperfect usually has better quality products than this.
Been ordering from these folks and honestly it's great! They make getting groceries feel less like a chore, the pricing is reasonable, and the quality is really solid. It's wild that regular grocery stores pass on this stuff, but that's totally my benefit.
Really pleased with the food and everything that's been in my boxes so far!!
Imperfect Foods has made getting groceries so much simpler for me while also helping me reduce waste, which is perfect! They just rolled out a new app with notifications that makes shopping even better, and I get excited every week seeing what's available. It's really opened my eyes to where food comes from and how hard farmers work. Really grateful for them being such a reliable part of our shopping routine!
This service has been wonderful. My elderly dad has people helping him cook, and these weekly grocery boxes make sure he always has access to fresh fruits and vegetables. I'll occasionally throw in something different for him to try, and if he doesn't use it, my husband takes it home and prepares it for us. He really loves things like the chocolate almonds, chocolate chip cookies, and the lemon torte. One time eggs arrived with a few cracked, and they reimbursed right away without any hassle.
