How to Use a Waitrose Promo Code
- Visit RetailCoupons.com and locate the Waitrose coupon or promo code you want to use.
- Copy the promo code to your clipboard, or note any special terms like minimum purchase requirements.
- Add items to your cart on waitrose.com and proceed to checkout.
- Paste the promo code into the designated discount or promo code field during payment.
- Review your order summary to confirm the discount has been applied before completing your purchase.
Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- The code may have expired or reached its usage limit; check the offer details on RetailCoupons.com for the current expiration date.
- Some codes require a minimum cart value or apply only to specific product categories; verify eligibility before assuming the code is invalid.
- Promo codes typically cannot be combined with other offers, so remove any existing discounts and try applying just one code.
- Copy and paste the code directly rather than typing it manually to avoid spacing or character errors that prevent it from working.
- Clear your browser cookies or try a different browser if the code is correct but still will not apply at checkout.
- Contact Waitrose customer support if the code meets all stated requirements but still fails to work, as there may be a technical issue on their end.

Waitrose Reviews
Waitrose shoppers are sharply divided in their ratings. On the positive side, some customers remain loyal, appreciating the store's premium positioning and quality offerings. However, recent reviews reveal significant concerns about operational and management practices. Multiple shoppers have expressed frustration over an incident involving employee termination related to loss prevention, with customers questioning the store's commitment to staff support. Additional complaints center on inconsistent service quality, including limited staffing at peak times, poor self-checkout assistance, uncomfortable surveillance experiences, and quality issues with perishable items purchased online (such as salmon with unexpectedly short shelf life).
The store appears to be experiencing a shift in customer perception, with long-time shoppers noting a decline from what they remember as a premium experience with better service standards. Customer service responsiveness to issues has also drawn criticism, suggesting operational challenges may be affecting the overall shopping experience.
How is it okay to fire an employee for catching someone stealing? Your stores have signs everywhere saying shoplifters hurt all of us. This doesn't add up.
Leadership and management, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Apparently protecting thieves matters more than standing by dedicated employees. One of your staff got let go simply for trying to stop stolen goods from walking out the door. Seems like you're more concerned with lawsuits than supporting the people who work for you. That's it for me with this chain. Never coming back.
It's funny really. Apparently customers can just stroll into Waitrose and leave with whatever they want without paying. The only catch is if some brave employee actually tries to stop them, they'll lose their job anyway and the person keeps the items. Waitrose talks about doing the right thing, but these actions say the opposite. Sometimes I wonder if they'll ever actually take a stand and mean it. But based on recent events, probably not anytime soon.
Purchased some salmon through the online order for Friday night, but it had an incredibly short shelf life. It was already past the date by Tuesday, just three days later. Didn't realize until I got home and opened the fridge. Since it had been frozen, I couldn't refreeze it. The customer service reps weren't any help either. Apparently three days is totally acceptable for fresh online orders. This was a total waste of money. I'll be switching to M&S in the future where the quality and freshness are reliable.
Been shopping at Rushden since 2004 and things have really gone downhill. This used to be a proper premium store with premium service. Now you've usually got just one manned till open when there are actual queues forming at self-checkout too. Staff hangs around chatting by the self-service area but disappears when you actually need help. The self-checkout machines are overly sensitive - move your bag slightly and you need staff approval. Today a delivery driver parked about a foot from our window on the grass verge, and when we said something, his response was pretty much 'I'm new and only 20.' Felt like a non-issue to him. Magazines now come every other month instead of monthly. And here's the kicker: no disposable cups unless you bring your own coffee cup. They say it's for the planet, yet half the food is wrapped in plastic and you need to buy a plastic bag to take it home. Ready meals are questionable too. That slow-cooked beef curry for supposedly two people is awful. You get maybe five tiny bits of beef, it's mostly fat, and costs six quid fifty.
I'm appalled by how I was treated by a couple of staff members at the Havant location. While I was going through the self-checkout process, I was closely observed by an assistant standing within arm's reach the entire time, which made me feel really uncomfortable and suspicious. When my taxi arrived and I headed to the exit, the trolley wheels suddenly locked. Another staff member immediately stopped me and demanded to see my receipt. I'm 71 years old and I've never felt so embarrassed in my life. This was completely uncalled for.
Ordered the Rainbow Birthday Cake for my niece's birthday celebration and it turned out fantastic. The cake was super light, really fluffy, and my family members went crazy for it. Definitely would get it again. Highly recommend.
Grabbed the Rainbow Birthday Cake for my young relative's party and it was absolutely incredible. Not only was the texture light and fluffy, but everyone at the gathering demolished it. Couldn't have asked for better. Five stars all the way.
Really let down by Waitrose's customer service team. Brought up a problem and got a sluggish response that wasn't useful at all, plus there were basic mistakes in their replies. They said they'd sort it out but just handed me off to the store instead. Back and forth emails went nowhere. I shouldn't have to trek to the branch in person just to get someone to actually do their job. I do love the products themselves, but customer service seriously needs improvement.
Windmill Hill Branch deserves a mention. The folks working there are super friendly and really helpful. The place is always neat and well maintained.
Service here is consistently fantastic. Richard brought our delivery today and was genuinely upbeat and super helpful throughout.
Got to give serious credit to the Beaconsfield branch. Staff really go above and beyond in terms of warmth and support. The quality you get on products is excellent and the helpfulness is right at the top. They offer some really worthwhile coupons on items you actually want to purchase, and there's usually a free coffee available. Prices run a touch higher than competitors, but the overall experience combined with deals when items go on sale makes it worthwhile. This location is genuinely one of the best parts of the community.
Big props to the Beaconsfield location for consistently delivering great experiences. The products are top quality and the team there is genuinely friendly and willing to help out. They've got some nice vouchers for things we actually buy, plus you can grab a complimentary coffee sometimes. Yeah, prices are a bit higher than average, but the service and special offers make up for it. Shopping there just feels better overall. It's definitely a highlight of what the town has to offer.
Just had my groceries delivered by the Solihull location and wow, what an experience. The delivery person was so pleasant, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Made my day so much easier. Really appreciate it, Waitrose.
