Wish I could rate this zero stars. I placed an order at the end of February and have messaged them so many times with no reply whatsoever. I've lost track of how many times I've asked for an update on my purchase. The total silence from the company is completely unacceptable. They should either let customers know if something's unavailable and offer a refund rather than just ignoring people. This whole thing has been incredibly frustrating and a massive letdown. I can't suggest this business to anyone.

The customer support here is terrible and just sends automated responses. When I made my purchase, there was no indication the book wasn't in stock and needed to be sourced from another distributor. I could have gone elsewhere and at least gotten a specific delivery date. The biggest frustration is the lack of actual communication when I had questions. I have no idea what's happening with my order. Booktopia needs to completely rethink how they handle customer service.

I'm never shopping here again. Their advertised shipping timeframes don't match reality, and my order took far longer than stated. I bought books in mid-December that were supposed to arrive before school started. A month passed and nothing had been dispatched yet. The support team told me to expect another 2 to 3 weeks. A simple notification about the holdup would have been appreciated. They got my payment instantly, but I've been waiting over 6 weeks total. The business should collect payment only after items are in the warehouse and prepared for shipment. Their practices are unacceptable, and clearly I'm not the only one who feels this way based on other feedback I've read.

This place scammed me before when they claimed they weren't closing and then went under, and I lost money on books. Since they came back, I thought maybe things would improve. I ordered a book they said would get here before Christmas. Over a week goes by with no shipping notification or tracking info, so I reached out. Their response a few days later was casual and mentioned they're out of stock and the supplier might take up to 3 weeks to send it to them. That's with Christmas only 2 weeks away! These people are dishonest and I got burned by them a second time. I'm furious.

Delivery was quick and everything arrived in perfect condition. I really like this website. We get all our children's books through here.
