Promo Code Not Working? Try This

  • The code may have expired since offers rotate regularly, so check RetailCoupons.com again to confirm the promotion is still listed as active.
  • Some codes apply only to specific services or product categories, so verify that your cart contents qualify for the discount.
  • Entering the code with extra spaces or incorrect capitalization will cause it to be rejected, so copy and paste it carefully from the offer listing.
  • Certain promotions may exclude sale items or products already discounted, so review the offer details to confirm eligibility.
  • If the code still does not work after verification, contact Meineke Car Care customer service for assistance or check whether the offer requires online-only redemption versus in-store use.

Meineke Car Care Savings Hacks

Stack seasonal tire promotions

Meineke frequently runs tire sales tied to seasons and weather changes. Buying tires before peak demand periods like winter or summer can yield better discounts than shopping during emergency need.

Sign up for Meineke email list

Retailers in the auto service category often email exclusive promotions and early-bird offers to subscribers. Check Meineke.com for a newsletter signup to receive additional codes not always listed on coupon aggregators.

Combine service packages with sales

Auto care retailers often offer bundle discounts when you purchase multiple services at once, such as pairing a tire purchase with brake service. Bundling needs can maximize savings over individual purchases.

Check local store promotions

Meineke locations sometimes run region-specific or store-specific offers that differ from corporate-wide codes. Visit a nearby location or contact them directly to learn about local deals.

Meineke Car Care Shipping Policy

Meineke Car Care is primarily a service provider, so most offerings involve in-store installation and service rather than product shipping to your home. For items that do ship, shoppers should review the specific product page or contact customer service to understand delivery options and timeframes for their purchase.

Meineke Car Care Returns & Refund Policy

Auto parts and tires typically have specific return policies tied to condition, installation status, and time of purchase. Customers should review Meineke's return policy on their website or speak with a store representative to understand the terms for their particular tire or product purchase.

Meineke Car Care is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 16 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting negative experiences. Customers consistently describe unprofessional service, excessively high prices, aggressive upselling tactics, and significant delays during repairs. Multiple reviewers report damage to their vehicles during service (broken mud flaps, damaged gaskets), incorrect parts orders, charges for work not requested, and warranty claims that were not honored by the company despite promises made at service locations.

The few positive reviews are outweighed by complaints about poor communication, unresponsive management to customer concerns, and staff behavior that shoppers found dismissive or confrontational. Issues range from mechanics failing to disclose vehicle damage to corporate refusing to honor warranty claims made by franchised locations. Shoppers report waiting hours for basic services and being pressured into expensive repairs they did not authorize or need.

Terrible service at this location. I paid $288 to replace one rotor and pads on one wheel and sat there for over two hours. They said the brake clips weren't in the parts box and had to get them, even though I brought my own rotor and pads. During the work, they broke my mud flap but never mentioned it. I only noticed when I got home. I tell everyone I know, and I see hundreds of people each week through my job, to stay away from this place. They don't take cash and the pricing changed at checkout from what I was quoted. Very poorly run. I'm never going back.

Really disappointed with how unprofessional the staff was at this location. I only came in for an oil change on my GMC Denali, but they told me I needed $12,000 worth of work. When I said no, they got upset with me. Way overpriced and pushy about upselling. I won't be coming back.

This place is dangerous and unethical. I went in to have my oil cooler replaced. When I picked up the vehicle, it was leaking power steering fluid and coolant everywhere. I brought it back but they claimed they couldn't find any leaks. I even showed them the fluid dripping and they said come back Monday because there were no mechanics. When I returned, they refused to fix what they broke and blamed the truck's age. I had to take it elsewhere and found out their mechanic had damaged the power steering reservoir gasket and installed wrong gaskets. I paid another shop to fix their mess. Driving with a power steering leak is incredibly risky and could have caused me to lose control.

Frustrating experience at this location. I brought my car in to replace a valve cover gasket and ended up waiting nine hours. The staff kept ordering the wrong parts and had to reorder multiple times. They also charged me for a wheel alignment I never asked for and didn't get. The technician broke the replacement gasket, which caused more delays. The young guys working up front were more interested in joking around with the manager than helping customers. The waiting area was dirty and the bathroom was gross. To make matters worse, my brakes started grinding badly a few weeks later on August 12th. I had to get it towed to another shop where they found the ABS sensor at the right front wheel had damaged threads. I paid to get the threads fixed and the sensor properly installed.

Be aware about Meineke warranties. Corporate Meineke doesn't actually guarantee any warranties despite what they claim. I had suspension work done at significant cost while traveling and ran into problems immediately. When I tried to use the warranty, the repair location wouldn't honor it. Corporate ignored my appeals. I filed a small claims case against both shops and Meineke corporate. According to court documents filed by corporate, their nationwide warranty isn't guaranteed by them at all but by individual franchise owners instead. This case is still ongoing.

Broken promise. The owner said they would come fix vehicles for our church ministry, but never showed up. Really disappointed and let down.

Frustrated about a military oil change promotion. I got a free oil change coupon for Veterans Day at Meineke. When I came in for my appointment, I was told I owed $97.64 after the service. I talked to the manager and got a military discount bringing it down to $62.69. The issue is they said the free coupon only applied to Synthetic Blend oil and my car needs Full Synthetic. I should have been told this before they changed my oil. My vehicle can actually use either type, so I feel like I was misled about what the free veteran promotion actually covered.

Really happy with my visit. While all the stores are corporate run, I think the right manager and technician can really make a huge difference. John at the location I went to was outstanding and much better than another franchise shop I've used before.

Bad experience at this location. I had an 11:30 AM appointment to have my AC checked because the compressor was making noise. Before even looking at anything, the front desk guy said it was the clutch and the compressor was bad. He also said the AC wasn't getting a signal without doing any actual inspection. These guys think they can diagnose cars from behind a desk. The place was empty when I was there and now I know why. Won't be back.

Complete ripoff. My brother picked up an older Toyota with high mileage that cost him $1,000. He took it in for a jerking issue and paid almost $680 for mount replacements. Someone at the front desk asked how much available credit he had, and after he mentioned around $8,000, they suggested he leave it for further evaluation. He got pressured into approving thousands of dollars in additional work. A few days later, he was hit with another $5,876.74 charge. Now he's got nearly $8,000 invested in a vehicle still worth about $1,000.

Not worth the money or time. I brought my car in with transmission and oil leak issues. They did a diagnostic and found 2 codes for the transmission but said I'd need to go to the dealer. They didn't even look at the oil leak. The diagnostic was supposed to take one hour as an AAA member, but it took longer. The technician claimed Meineke doesn't have to follow AAA timing. I was also supposed to get a multipoint inspection which never happened. When I took the codes to the dealer, they found way more transmission codes that Meineke had missed. This visit was a waste of money and effort.

Marcus T.May 29, 2024

Awful experience overall. Took them over a week just to fix a coolant leak. When they put the intake manifold back on, they chipped it and caused a vacuum leak. I asked them to repair it even though I'd pay, but they refused. Corporate also didn't help at all.

David M.Mar 17, 2024

Great experience here. The service was solid and I didn't have to wait very long at all.

Christopher B.Feb 8, 2024

Terrible visit at this location. I had a slow leak in my tire and wanted it patched. The manager was rude and dismissive, insisting I needed a new tire. When I asked to see the damage, I found just a small puncture in the middle of the tread. I questioned him and he got defensive and almost hostile. I had them take my car down and went to the tire shop next door where they fixed it with no problem. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this manager's attitude. I won't go back and I'm telling everyone I know about this terrible experience.

Great help when we needed it most. My grandson called late one night saying his car was smoking under the hood. He's five hours away attending college in Texas, so I searched for a nearby repair shop and found Meineke. I called ahead to ask if they work on warranty vehicles and made an appointment. The next day we drove up and the whole staff was super kind and professional. Mike got him scheduled right away and Will took great care of us the following day. They worked on the vehicle immediately and even called the warranty company to get everything set up. We only paid the deductible and everything went smoothly. My grandson had his car back without any issues. Really grateful for how they handled our situation and understood we were out of town. Highly recommend this shop.
