Worst customer support experience I've had outside of one other company. You call their support line and they tell you to email. When you ask who you're talking to, they say CS support. It's funny until you look at your bank account and see a $4000 charge. Bought a cargo trike and it's literally falling apart. Throttle isn't working right, electrical problems everywhere. No support offered. It showed up with missing parts and they refused to replace them. Now I'm stuck with a broken bike. Two weeks in and the tires were already worn down so bad I had to replace them for another $130. Don't do it. The bikes are overpriced and everything else on them is cheap garbage. I'm being serious when I say PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

My father bought a trike about eight months back and the whole experience has been awful from start to finish. Addmotor is not a company you can trust. The quality of the trike is poor and their warranty doesn't actually mean anything despite what they claim. I suspect they're heading toward closing down based on how terribly they handle customer relationships. The trike stopped working after only four months even though he barely rode it. We've been trying to get warranty support but they never respond. This is honestly the worst company.

Paid three grand for a GrandTan M340 and it quit on me before two years were up. Their customer support is just as bad as the bike itself. I sent them a video to help troubleshoot the issue and they basically told me I needed to replace every major component. They don't even know how to fix their own products. They wouldn't even tell me what the replacement parts would cost. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Bought a Grandtan turbo trike and put about 3300 miles on it over eighteen months. Could've been a loyal customer, but the company just doesn't care about supporting you. First issue is the chains and cassettes wear out constantly around every 1200 miles. Parts aren't stocked locally and it takes two months to get replacements shipped from overseas. I've had the brake levers fail, the seat break, and now the motor quit and it's out of warranty so that's another $800 hit. They won't stock that either, so another two month wait. My trike's basically a lawn ornament right now. Good luck getting anyone on the phone and email responses take forever. I asked if someone could call me back and got nothing. If I ran a company selling $3500 ebikes and heard someone's motor died, I'd overnight them a replacement. But this place just doesn't care. Skip them if you want a bike you can actually count on.

Bought the 310 CityTrike online because the specs and pricing beat out what I was seeing elsewhere. Easy to assemble but then the problems started. Brake levers need constant tweaking, the display freezes when it's really hot or when the battery gets low, the seat won't stay adjusted. Sometimes it won't start after disengaging the hand brake unless I jiggle it. Battery won't power up if it's less than half charged so you have to keep it topped off. Going downhill in a turn feels unstable and sketchy, the wheelbase should be wider. Range is about half of what they advertise. I just don't see how anybody walks away happy with this product.

Nightmare spam situation. After just asking a question, I got bombarded with constant emails for months and months. If they put even half the energy into customer service that they put into spamming inboxes, maybe they'd actually be a functional business. You'd have to be completely out of your mind to give these people any business.

Got my citytri e-310 at the end of April and by mid June it stopped working completely. For a $2000 trike, two months of use is unacceptable. It's just sitting in my garage doing nothing now. I'm curious to see if the warranty actually covers anything but I'm not holding my breath. I already ordered a different ebike because I can't afford to be without transportation. If you're thinking about buying one of these, be warned and good luck.

Wish I'd done better research before buying. Those YouTube reviews looked great but I didn't think about how those reviewers probably get paid or get free stuff to give good ratings. Huge mistake on my part. I'm currently trying to fight for a refund. If you're a senior citizen, watch out. This company has no customer service whatsoever and clearly doesn't care. The responses I get are all generic and sound like they're automatically generated. Their shipping updates are misleading and not truthful. Once they take your money, you're stuck. Then the delays and runaround begin. Don't expect honesty or an apology. They lie about shipment status without hesitation. Now I'm waiting indefinitely to get my money back so I can buy from a real company. Young people might say oh well, guess I'll just wait. But us older folks say YOU LIED, I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW. Seniors need to be aware.

Can't complain so far with my M360 II 2nd Gen. Really impressed by the engineering and the way it's built. Customer service was solid before I took delivery too. I live in the desert so weather isn't much of a concern for me. It's a nice looking machine and getting around on those fat tires has been awesome at my age. I understand that expensive equipment can have problems over time and parts wear out, but I went in with realistic expectations. Delivery was quick and the assembly was straightforward. The staff who helped me out was patient and helpful. No warranty claims yet, and honestly just being able to ride again has made me happy.

Be careful before you buy. The return policy here is rough. I purchased a couple of trikes but honestly didn't feel safe riding them. My eTrike hasn't arrived yet but the customer service experience before purchase has me very optimistic. I tried using an A100 discount code and it failed, but I went ahead and ordered anyway. Within days they emailed me the code again and offered to apply it retroactively. When I called support to request the adjustment, they did it instantly with no hassle and the credit showed up faster than expected. I also wanted to know if a different model's backrest would fit my bike. They answered right away saying yes but cautioning it might interfere with the cargo box. Then unprompted, someone actually installed the backrest on one of their bikes and emailed me a photo to show me exactly how it would look. I never asked for that. If this kind of attention carries over to the actual product and ongoing support, Addmotor was definitely the right call.
