My brand new 300-pound wheelchair failed inside the park yesterday. I ended up having to drag the broken chair out of the Harry Potter area by sliding on my rear and pulling it along the ground. Later, I tried using my original ECV scooter to bring my 7-year-old back inside for her birthday. They made me park it in the stroller area, and a staff member positioned herself across the walking path watching me crawl toward her just so I could get my daughter on a ride. I fell trying to board and had to go to first aid for bandages and ice. When I got there, I struggled forever trying to open the first aid door in the guest services office without anyone offering assistance. I shouldn't have to say this, but Universal Orlando simply isn't safe or accessible for people with significant physical disabilities. This was my first visit and unfortunately it'll be my last.
