Promo Code Not Working? Try This

  • The code may be expired; check RetailCoupons.com to confirm the offer is still active before attempting to use it.
  • Some codes apply only to first-time subscribers or specific subscription plans, so verify eligibility requirements on the offer details.
  • Ensure you enter the code exactly as shown, including all letters and numbers, since codes are case-sensitive on most sites.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again, as technical issues sometimes prevent codes from registering.
  • If the code still fails, contact ABCmouse.com customer support with a screenshot of the offer to confirm the code is valid.
  • Check that you are not combining multiple promotions, as most retailers restrict stacking of discount codes.

ABCmouse.com Savings Hacks

Sign up for first subscriber discounts

Many educational platforms offer special introductory rates for new customers. Check RetailCoupons.com for first subscription offers before signing up to secure the lowest entry price.

Stack codes with seasonal promotions

Monitor RetailCoupons.com during back-to-school season and holidays, when retailers often run additional discounts on educational products and subscriptions.

Compare annual versus monthly billing

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

ABCmouse.com receives uniformly negative feedback from shoppers, with all 15 reviews rating the service at 1.0 out of 5 stars. The most serious and recurring complaint involves unauthorized or persistent billing practices: customers report being charged continuously despite canceling subscriptions, being charged for free trials they never completed, and experiencing difficulty obtaining refunds. Multiple reviewers indicate they have initiated chargebacks through their banks and describe the billing practices as potentially fraudulent.

Customer service emerges as a secondary but significant issue. Shoppers report long hold times, circular support interactions, unhelpful automated chatbots, and difficulty reaching human representatives. Several customers note that cancellation processes are confusing or deliberately obstructed, with subscription options that cannot be easily terminated. One reviewer reported charges continuing for years after cancellation without notification. The lack of clear purchase confirmations and billing transparency compounds customer frustration.

This company is running a scam operation. Starting in July, they began charging my account continuously through October. I contacted support but only got the runaround and endless hold times with customer care making excuses. I'm disputing all these charges with my bank. What these people are doing is absolutely disgusting.

David M.Aug 29, 2025

Got charged by this company for something I never bought. My bank notified me of the charge today. I'm really concerned about how they were able to access my payment info like that.

Nicholas B.Aug 9, 2025

There's no purchase confirmation, which seems crazy given how badly the site works. What exactly you're buying isn't clear either. I was charged 40 dollars and still have no idea what service that was for. They won't give refunds, which tells me this whole thing is fraudulent. I'm going through my bank to recover the money. Their AI chatbot is also extremely frustrating to deal with.

Susan V.May 28, 2025

Be careful with this company. I signed up for a 60 day free trial and got random charges while it was running. After I cancelled, they emailed confirmation saying it was cancelled, but they still pulled 9.99 out of my account anyway. I reached out saying I already cancelled myself and wanted that money back. Their response was that they don't give refunds, except this time they would. Well of course they should since I had already cancelled and they charged me anyway. Either fraud or theft, take your pick. Also it's made in America so it's not great for kids in other countries. Definitely shady. The whole situation screams stay away. Everyone seems to be reporting the exact same problem with them still charging after you've cancelled. Watch your account monthly because they'll keep billing you. Don't trust them.

Emma T.Mar 26, 2025

I've been stuck trying to end my subscription after the free trial finished, and I keep getting sent in circles. The system won't let me cancel the main membership, only some assessment part. Being from outside the US, I'd pay huge international phone charges to call, and the online chat is just a bot that contradicts itself. First it says I have no subscription to cancel, then it says I do. This whole thing is an absolute con.

Sandra W.Oct 18, 2024

My experience with this company has been absolutely terrible. Their customer support is among the worst I've dealt with, and they don't seem to follow any rules about how subscriptions should work. I cancelled way back in 2018, but recently found out they've been charging me for three straight years without sending any notifications or emails about it. When I contacted their support team, they refused to actually help or have a real discussion about what I was charged. They just dismissed me without listening. There's zero transparency, no reminder emails before charging, and canceling is made purposefully difficult. It's really upsetting that a company supposedly helping families operates this way. I've filed complaints with consumer protection agencies because their business practices likely break several laws. If you're considering signing up, I'd strongly advise against it. You'll probably end up stuck paying indefinitely with zero support from the team.

Kevin S.Jul 18, 2024

The app constantly crashes multiple times per hour. Just stay away from it.

Patricia L.Jul 11, 2024

I have no memory of creating an account on this site or entering my credit card details anywhere, and I definitely don't share that kind of information on websites like this. Yet they keep charging me over and over. It's shocking how people can steal from others with barely any repercussions.

Michelle K.Jun 20, 2023

Canceling your account with this service is unnecessarily complicated. I emailed to cancel and got confirmation that it was done, but I still got charged the following month with another charge pending. This feels like a total ripoff.

Tyler R.Nov 20, 2022

Monthly charges are hitting my account for something I definitely did not agree to. I attempted to reach their phone line but got a maintenance message instead. The website chat feature is acting like a bot, repeating the same unhelpful questions without actually helping. It seems like customer service is overloaded too.

Brandon T.Nov 20, 2022

I'm being charged monthly for something I never signed up for. When I tried calling their number, I got a message saying customer service was down for maintenance. Their website chat keeps asking the same questions over and over with zero resolution. It's all just robotic responses.

Amanda F.Aug 6, 2022

I started a free trial through a cashback program about a month back and thought I had cancelled. Today, PayPal informed me I'd been charged 12.99 dollars to the company without any warning. I went to the website and also got the app hoping to find how to cancel. Neither one has any obvious way to cancel your subscription, and the interfaces are pretty bare bones.

Robert H.Sep 20, 2020

Pretty disappointing overall. First, the price is way too high for what you get. Second, there's no point in having your kids advance ahead on this platform when they'll just go back to the same pace as everyone else at school. Every lesson is designed to fit the whole class whether kids are struggling or gifted. Learning through screens can't compare to real experiences like taking your child outside to see, touch, and smell actual nature. A trip to the woods where kids can count trees or explore is worth infinitely more than an expensive app. The personal interaction and teaching that families have passed down forever beats screen time every time. There are simpler, cheaper ways to teach shapes and puzzles that don't require paying for pricey platforms like this.

Heather D.Aug 26, 2020

On day one of my free trial, they hit my credit card with a 60 dollar charge. There was zero notice about this happening. When I emailed them to complain, I got no apology and no explanation for why they'd charge someone at the start of a 30 day trial. Plus they add a 1 dollar monthly subscription fee. The cost is completely unreasonable. I'd pick Reading Eggs over this any time.

Mark C.Aug 3, 2020

We tried a trial for our three year old on the iPad and found the interface really clunky and bad. It seems like they just wrapped their website in the app without actually making it work well on tablets. The layout is confusing for young kids. Since they market in the UK but the product is US only, there's no British language option available, which will confuse younger users. They've definitely overlooked some fundamental design principles here.
