Audible does not let exchange an audio…

Audible does not let exchange an audio book you received as a gift. I had only listened to 5 minutes of it. This seems just plain wrong. I’ve never heard of a bookstore of any kind that doesn’t allow you to exchange an unread book.

My daughter has an audible subscription…

My daughter has an audible subscription through Amazon. I tried to purchase a hard copy book for her for Christmas and she got an Audible book. It would not let me cancel so had to dispute through my credit card. Very shady business practices. You should be able to return the book for full credit but they don’t allow it and I tried to return immediately after purchasing when I realized what had happened.

Crap interface costs you money.

Crap interface costs you money.I earned a $15 credit and it was nowhere to be found in my account. At the same time, Audible was having a massive sale and prices were dirt cheap. I was blown away how cheap the books were.Well.... turns out they play a crazy game. They don't show your credit balance ANYWHERE. Instead, they show all of the books costing $15 less! Nowhere on the site does it explain this.So, here I am thinking the Black Friday prices are so amazingly low... but it wasn't the case. EVERY book on the site was artificially lowered by $15. Stupid me, I thought the price was so low that I would pick up some books at the crazy low pricing. Uh uh. Nope. That used up my credit.This is very deceptive. I never saw HOW I could use up my credit. They just applied it to EVERY book I was scrolling past and I was thinking how CHEAP everything was, but it wasn't. It was reflecting the price "if" I used it and it would automatically apply the credit whether I wanted it or not.So, I bought something I didn't even want, but it was like $1 so I bought it. BOOM. That used up my credit.45 minute call TO INDIA where they said they: 1) could not return the book; 2) I couldn't gift it to anyone else; and 3) they wouldn't give me a credit back.EFF Audible. I'm going to spend down the rest of the credits I have and QUIT your horrid site.

liars!!!

They make a promotion and then DO NOT honored it!!! In other words, if you buy something to access any kind of promotion, they just do not accomplish it! They lie to subscribers 🤦🏻‍♂️😡

The new website interface is confusing…

The new website interface is confusing and makes it difficult or impossible to sort; e.g. ascending order by price. It is cumbersome at best and useless and its worst. I might be done with audible. You can't do searches any longer except by category

No Customer Service reachable

The books are great but the customer service chat is a robot who doesn't understand anything. Limited amount of possibilities to choose from, you just get rerouted to the same questions over and over again, without ever giving you over to a human. There is no human contact possible. I cannot get my European phone number fit in the call me back brackets. The question I had was not included and I cannot ask anybody Such a pity to run your company like this, really. Why? It is driving away customers.

Garbage support

Garbage supportApp did not work for 6 month, 3 different reps gave me incorrect information.Then the 4th confirmed that there was a bug, apologized for the incorrect information that they provided, yet said she can do nothing to rectify the situation.Horrible support.

0 stars - use audiobooks.com instead

0 stars. I tried to place an order. It went through and then it was immediately cancelled. Then they put my account on hold for "suspicious activity". This is my first order. Suddenly, hours later my order went through so i called them to cancel because I found another site. She confirmed over the phone it was cancelled and would send confirmation. Never received one and just got another email that my order is confirmed. My account is locked so i cant even cancel it myself. Im being sent in a verification loop and no one is helping. I get placed on hold and transferred and the call drops. The service is terrible!
