Many outdoor retailers, including optics brands, send exclusive coupon codes to email subscribers. Signing up for Bushnell communications may give you early access to promotions not listed elsewhere.
If you need more than one piece of equipment, look for bundle or multi-item promotions that may offer better overall savings than single-product discounts.

Bushnell Reviews
Bushnell is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 13 shoppers, and the feedback is overwhelmingly negative. Reviewers report persistent issues with customer support, including difficulty reaching representatives by phone, unresponsive staff, and unhelpful interactions when problems arise. Beyond service concerns, shoppers describe problematic product issues such as misleading feature descriptions (GPS functionality that does not work as advertised), defective items that were not properly addressed during warranty claims, incorrect replacements sent during repairs, and products that fail to hold charges.
The few reviewers who gave higher ratings appear to be exceptions rather than the rule. Common complaints center on the company's refusal to stand behind defective products, shipping delays without communication, and a customer service approach that ranges from dismissive to actively hostile. Multiple shoppers indicated they would not purchase from Bushnell again, citing both the product quality concerns and the frustrating experience of trying to resolve issues with the company.
I bought an older Bushnell cellular trail camera about 4 years ago for $299 and chose it specifically for the GPS feature that supposedly notifies you when the camera moves and sends location updates periodically. When my camera got stolen, I called them assuming I could track it. Turns out the GPS only works if you manually update it in the app - completely useless for a theft situation. Now they've stopped supporting older models, which basically forces you to buy new equipment. I trusted Bushnell's reputation and paid good money for features that don't actually work as advertised. You won't see me buying their products again.
I won't be ordering from this company again. Getting customer support is basically impossible - nobody picks up the phone at any time of day, and that looping bird chirp hold music is maddening. I ordered on January 12th and was told it would arrive in 5 to 7 business days, but tracking went silent. Multiple attempts to reach support got nowhere, and after nearly a month they finally emailed that my order was cancelled. Plus they kept bugging me to review a product I never even received. You're better off buying the same items on Amazon where customer service actually exists.
I used to be satisfied with Bushnell, but now I get why people complain so much. Called yesterday with a straightforward question and the rep named Jason sounded irritated from the moment he picked up. He rushed through an answer and when I asked him to repeat it, his tone got downright hostile. It was so bad I actually asked if calls were being recorded. Companies like Garmin must love picking up customers when Bushnell employees treat people this way. Really disappointing.
I sent in a defective optic where the red dot wasn't actually a dot. When they got it, they claimed it was fine even though it clearly wasn't working properly. They basically told me too bad and refused to do anything about it. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said no. I told them to keep it, then changed my mind about ten minutes later and asked them to send it back. They said they were sorry for the inconvenience and just kept it anyway. Don't do business with Bushnell.
Sent my Bushnell Elite scope in for warranty repair expecting the same 30mm tube model back, but they shipped me an R5 with a 1 inch tube instead. That meant buying new rings, and I wasn't happy with the R5 anyway. When I called to complain, a rep told me to send the R5 back on my dime and gave me a list of scopes to choose from. I picked one and sent the R5 back, but once it arrived in Utah, a different representative called saying the first rep doesn't work there anymore and had no authority to make that promise. They offered me either two basic Simmons scopes or my original scope back, but refused to honor what their employee told me. Now I'm fighting to recover the $100 shipping cost I paid. This doesn't sound like exceptional customer service. To make it worse, I'd already sold the 1 inch rings and bought new ones for the scope I selected. I've been loyal to Bushnell for 35 years and they couldn't care less. I won't be buying their products anymore and I'm making sure everyone knows about this experience.
My Bushnell 2000 lumen flashlight wouldn't hold a charge and I tried contacting their customer service department. They were completely unhelpful, just told me to replace it. I'm not happy about throwing away a $50 flashlight. I own two other Bushnell lights but I'm done buying their brand.
Stay away from Bushnell cellular trail cameras. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. Calling their support line is a nightmare - you just hear that you have high call volume and they offer callback options that never actually happen. I've waited on hold for over an hour multiple times with zero results. My experience with Tacticam's customer service shows what real support should look like.
My Bushnell binoculars started having focus issues after a couple years of use. Getting them on the phone was tough, but once I connected with someone, they immediately sent me a replacement pair without any questions. Really impressed with how they handled the warranty and the quality of the replacement.
Bushnell has become a disreputable company based on how they treat customers. They refuse refunds no matter what. People consistently rate them at the lowest levels, and that's an accurate reflection of their actual behavior. Don't expect your money back.
The DS 4K trail camera takes awful pictures no matter what other reviews claim. I tried to update the firmware hoping it would fix the image quality, and the update said it went through successfully but ended up bricking the whole camera. I've reached out to Bushnell support twice and haven't heard anything back. Their ironclad guarantee seems to guarantee you'll get zero help. Skip this trail camera.
The Ion Edge works great for a while, but then reliability goes downhill. After 14 months mine stopped working altogether. If you want something dependable, spend the extra money and go with a Garmin like my friends did.
Their customer service is absolutely awful. I've been trying to reach someone for weeks without getting a response. Now I'm stuck with a broken optic and no way to get it covered under warranty.
Total garbage. I inquired about a trail camera and got back a three-word response that wasn't helpful at all. It technically answered something but completely missed why I was asking in the first place and took forever to arrive. This company is arrogant, dismissive, and really needs to get their act together.
