While I don't have the means to fly regularly, I really admire and respect how Delta stood by their principles when they downgraded certain officials during the recent government shutdown, even though TSA employees weren't receiving paychecks. That took guts and other airlines should follow their example.

I tried to book a package with flight, car, and hotel accommodations, but the hotel option wasn't showing up anywhere in the app. Even though they called it an airport location, it was actually positioned forty minutes from the terminal. Trying to figure out which hotel they had reserved took a really long time. And their customer support team? Good luck getting help there since the hold time was around thirty minutes.

They're the absolute worst airline I've encountered. People who live near hubs for American or United should really count their blessings. I've flown with both and neither comes close to how terrible Delta is. Most of their cabin crew come across as stuck up. Their ticket prices are ridiculous. When you book the same flight code through their partner airlines, it's consistently cheaper. They land early but then we wait thirty minutes at the gate even though they control this terminal and it's late at night with tons of unused gates sitting empty. Delta really needs to stop trusting their own false advertising.

I wish there was an option for a lower rating because one star isn't low enough. If you're based in Atlanta you basically have to fly them. Honestly they're the worst carrier I've ever used. If you're coming from an American or United city and complaining, you don't understand how good you have it. I've flown both and Delta is incomparably worse. The crew on flights are often rude and snobbish. The prices are incredibly high. The same route booked through their partner airlines always costs less. They get to their gate early but then we sit parked for half an hour waiting for a terminal spot in a location they own - and this happens late at night when there are clearly thirty plus empty gates available. Delta needs to quit believing their own marketing hype.

Delta really is my second home! Whether you're flying in regular seating or their premium cabin, the experience is incredibly nice and comfortable. They have an awesome collection of TV shows, movies, games, and music to enjoy. There's also a wide variety of food and beverages to pick from. I would absolutely recommend flying with them! We've got a trip coming up from SLC to JFK on Friday. By the way, I'd suggest avoiding American Airlines - my dad got an expired biscuit on his flight with them.

The in-flight entertainment is fantastic with tons of shows, movies, games, and music to keep you busy. Plus there are so many tasty food and beverage options available. I seriously can't recommend them enough! We're heading out SLC to JFK this Friday. Just stay away from American Airlines if you can - they once served my dad an expired snack!
