What Is the Eventbrite Refund Policy?

Eventbrite's refund policy is mainly handled by the event organizers. This means that if you want a refund, you must send a request directly to the organizer through your Eventbrite account. After you log in, go to your Tickets, find the order you want, and click “Request a refund”. The organizer is required to respond to your request within 5 business days. Eventbrite will only issue a refund if the organizer denies your request or doesn't respond and the event was canceled within the last 45 days, or postponed for more than 90 days without a new date. In these cases, you must contact Eventbrite using their refund request form.

Eventbrite Customer Service

For general inquiries, you can use their help center. You will need to select a topic that best fits your issue, and follow the prompts. For specific questions about a ticket you've already purchased, it's often best to contact the event organizer directly through your Eventbrite account. Eventbrite is a self-service platform, and the organizers are responsible for managing their own events and answering attendee questions. If you are an event creator with a specific plan or package, you may also have access to dedicated live chat

support.

Don't Trust Eventbrite

Someone put out an event on their site, and when I went there, it turns out that the event never took place. I was even told by the owners THIS HAPPENS VERY FREQUENTLY WITH EVENTBRITE in their address. I reported the fradualent event and they did absolutely nothing to help. MONEY WAS WASTED. Don't trust this service. Try other ones with better ratings

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I am unable to access my tickets despite having an order number and a link in email telling me to click on it to get my tickets.Customer Services useless and consists of a chat, but that just goes round in circles and the solutions it suggests don't work. This really encourages me to never use event right

I am writing to express my deep…

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding our visit to Devlin at 7:00 Pm last Saturday. Our group of five arrived specifically for a Single Mixer event, which was available on Evenbrite app, only to find that no such event was taking place. Furthermore, the venue was fully booked, meaning we were unable to even get a table. We feel our time was completely wasted due to inaccurate information. It is clear that customer experience was not prioritized for Eventbrite, as after complaining, the just said that what I said was not accurate and they will not take any actions.

Ridiculous website

Absolutely ridiculous website that doesn't allow me to change the address of the event or change anything in fact. Tried numerous browsers so it is not that. Sad that it is so bad

I have bought tickets through eventbrite for about 10 years but in the past few weeks they have been bombarding me with marketing emails. I can find no way of unsubscribing and if I reply to their emails they say they are not monitored. Beyond annoying.

You cannot talk to a person to resolve problems

Purchased a ticket but in both their app and on their website man ticket was not there. My credit card statement shows the purchase. Tried to contact Eventbrite. You can chat with a robot, which suggested that I had used the wrong email address. But an email telling me how to get my ticket came to the correct email address, so - no!. It is impossible to talk to a person,.

Good concept, poor execution.

I like the concept but it’s really hard and sometimes impossible to find link to virtual events. They should incorporate ticket delivery at time of registration so viewers don’t forgot about the event without a calendar reminder (me) or find themselves (also me) frantically looking for a link to join for 20 minutes after it has already started.

Great platform, but hard to access customer support

Well, I am giving Eventbrite an average of four points, possibly 3.5 if that were available, because some aspects of my experience have been excellent, and one aspect has been poor, so I want to be fair to the company and its people. 1. I have been using Eventbrite consistently for 10 years to sell my online lectures. As a solo operator, having to do all my own admin as well as preparing my events, I find the interface very easy and reliable to use. You just need to go through a small learning curve when you start, but thereafter, it has been very consistent and user friendly for a simple organization like mine. I have no idea what the experience is like for more complex events or organizations, but it suits a sole trader like me very well. I get paid a few days after each event, after all checks and balances have been undertaken. Refunds are easy to issue. So, its a 4.5 stars from this point of view.2. I recently experienced an issue where I closed the email account under which I had registered my account, so I had no access to the inbox for my security code. So, I could not log in, or update my email address. This is where Eventbrite's weakness showed up - getting access to dedicated customer support was unecessarily difficult, with a poorly developed AI chatbox as a first resort, and a great deal of difficulty raising a ticked for a competent and willing advisor to get in touch and try to understand my issue. It took me two weeks of persistant effort to get a competent customer support agent. So for that, I would be inclined to subtract a few stars, and give it a 2.3. However, once I finally got a decent customer support agent - a real live person who kept up a constant line of email advice and communicated intelligently with me over several days, I found the service was exemplary. It was a tricky issue involving account conflicts, and we needed to try several different strategies to resolve it. My agent was called Arnel, and they were so very resourceful and patient, sticking with with my issue over more than two days untill we resolved the problem. For this agent alone, I would give 5 stars, except that it was initially so difficult to find someone like this. So, as an overall rating, I give Eventbrite four stars, in the hope that they will put some more effort into making their excellent agents more accessible, and maybe that they might do something about that primitive AI chatbox. A great product overall, but It could be so much better.

Atrocious customer service

I received an e-mail telling me to log in to get my tickets but when I do they are not there. I've found it impossible to get any help as the e-mail addresses are not monitored and the AI chat bot is useless. No telephone numbers anywhere of course. Really poor service and I would advise not to book anything through this company. If you are an event organiser, don't use Eventbrite to avoid poor service to your customers

Poor Experience

I was booking tickets for a group of friends for an event over two days. Used a credit card, first tickets came through ok with a notification eventually coming through via email. Tried to book the following days event, tried twice but both times said payment declined only to check I now have three pending payments on my credit card. No way to contact them so will need to contact credit card company for advice, absolute ball ache. Kinda stuck with using them due to the promotors but if I could would give them a wide berth.
