2.5 months later and I get the same AI response all the time from their customer support team. I advertised my NYE event before December and filled out the form so I can receive Eventbrite Pro for a year. Something so so easy for Eventbrite to do. Simply put me on the Eventbrite Pro plan, but no. AI generated emails for 2.5 months saying the same thing. "I have already re-engaged our internal specialists to give your case the attention it deserves. Please rest assured that they are working hard to pinpoint exactly what's going wrong and get it fixed. I'm personally keeping a close eye on the progress and will reach out the moment I have an update for you."WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I was expressly assured that my advertising expenditure would generate between 40% and 160% more attendees for my event. In reliance on these representations, I invested in excess of $400 in Eventbrite’s paid advertising for a single event and, in return, received only one ticket sale attributable to an Eventbrite-generated lead, in the amount of $45.Upon discovering this gross disparity between the promised results and the actual outcome, I promptly demanded an explanation and requested at least a partial refund commensurate with the clear lack of performance and reasonable return on investment. Eventbrite refused to provide any relief whatsoever, effectively disclaiming responsibility for the representations made in connection with its advertising services. In my professional opinion, these practices appear to constitute deceptive and misleading marketing, potentially rising to the level of unlawful and fraudulent inducement under applicable consumer protection and advertising laws. I strongly caution any prospective customer against expending funds on Eventbrite’s advertising products, as the performance claims made to me were not merely unsubstantiated, but dangerously close to being criminally misleading.

What a horrible website. I tried to book a show for over 20 minutes. I tried two credit cards. For both cards it gave me an error that my billing info was incorrect, despite having it saved on my phone and Laptop (I tried both devices). I had to go to the box office to buy my tickets.

They have blocked our account with no reason. We have delivered a service and after taking service the client puts a charge back of USD2000 and we explained everything and we have provided all required information how we have delivered our services but after a month they emailed us that the case was in favor of the client and we haven't reverted any email with evidence and when I called and told them that we have provided all required details of our service delivery they are say sir we are sorry but we cant do anything and we as organizer we have to refund all the amount after our service delivery. Again after a month our Eventbrite account is got suspended without any reason. Now we are back of them since a month with no solution.

So I updated my listings to indicate that people shouldn't contact the venue about the event status and to not automatically enter the venue because I don't know if the event runs or not. it relies on sufficient people. With ongoing inflation and all that, I can never get enough people. Better I tell the truth to the people than to put out a lie. So what does eventbrite do to honest people like myself? Delete our accounts. Pretty pathetic.

If I can give this venue a 0, I would. This is an awful company and I advise anyone not to purchase tickets through them. We purchased 2 tickets back in November for $107.00. The show canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances" and included a link to request a refund, which I did. And we have not heard back from anyone since. We started a dispute with my credit card company and its still ongoing. They are denying and refusing me a refund which is not right since they are the ones who canceled, not us. Do not buy tickets from them!!

Firstly, dispite several emails from the Bolsover team for more detailed information, Everbrite didn't respond. When the event was cancelled they didn't inform many of the people expecting to go on the event that it had been cancelled. They deserve their poor reviews. Just not responsible organisers in my experience.

Eventbrite appears not to employ real humans to meaningfully respond to customer support requests. On multiple occasions, I have been locked out of access to my own events—events that Eventbrite profits from. The platform continually adds new features and tools that make basic tasks more complicated rather than easier to use. When problems arise, email inquiries receive extremely slow responses, if any at all, which reinforces the impression that customer support is largely automated and inaccessible.

New year party at the Chicago Hilton was HORRIBLE!!! Long lines for terrible “appetizers” long lines at every bar and by 11pm they ran out of multiple liquor/mixers. Not worth it and will never attend again. Stay away from this event.

We were supposed to have a “Platinum VIP” experience on a Spirit yacht at the Wharf, DC Harbour on New Year’s Eve 2026. What a pathetic establishment! They packed the yacht as sardines in the can. Not a single holiday decoration. Empty tables, aluminum chairs, no room to pass through. Two bars on different decks were closed. The queue to the only bar on the main deck was endless. We stayed there for an hour unable to sit, to move, to get a drink and left before the yacht was supposed to leave the pier. A giant disappointment given it fantastic advertising, and a “small” cost of $482 per person. Total scam!!!
