Gardencup Reviews
Gardencup shoppers who rate the service highly praise the freshness and quality of the prepared salads and protein snack cups, along with exceptional customer service that feels personal and genuinely caring. Satisfied reviewers appreciate the straightforward website, quick delivery that keeps food fresh throughout the week, and the company's ethics around customer rewards and community support. However, the 24 total reviews reveal a divided customer base: 3.6 out of 5 reflects that while 58 percent of shoppers give five stars, 25 percent rate one star and 13 percent rate two stars, indicating significant concerns among dissatisfied customers that are not detailed in available review excerpts.
The polarized ratings suggest potential issues with consistency, pricing, subscription flexibility, or other factors that lead some shoppers to have negative experiences despite the strong positive sentiment from loyal customers. Those considering Gardencup should note the high variance in satisfaction levels and may want to research specific concerns before committing to a subscription.
I'm blown away by how much this company cares! Not only are the salads incredibly fresh and delicious, but their protein snack cups taste amazing with really good quality ingredients. What really sets them apart is their customer service - it genuinely feels like you're dealing with a friend. After ordering for almost a year, I can honestly say they've handled every single situation perfectly, whether it was something I caused, their mistake, weather issues, or shipping problems. They always make it right and then some!
As a customer, I've experienced genuine ethics, honesty, and real customer service. This company gives back to its customers with actual rewards and perks - not because they had to, but because they genuinely wanted to. It's refreshing to support a business that cares.
I absolutely loved this service! The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, and I genuinely enjoyed chatting with everyone. The salads are seriously delicious and such a smart concept. Unfortunately, my budget on a fixed income just doesn't allow me to keep ordering. I really wish I could've done three or four orders at a time - I know the menu doesn't work that way, but I felt it was worth mentioning. At 73 years old, I know you probably work with a younger crowd, but I'm so grateful for the experience and everyone's kindness. Thanks so much!
Tasty salads, great customer support, and the website is really straightforward to use!
I finally decided to try this company and I'm really glad I did. Everything showed up fresh and stayed that way throughout the week, so I was able to finish all my cups. The Italian Sausage Soup and Steak Kabob were my favorites, plus I really liked the Green Apple option. Honestly, I'm not going to be ordering this every single week since I enjoy salad but not daily or even weekly. That being said, I'm definitely going to try them again in the future. I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase and I've already noticed my lunch spending going down, which is great. This review comes from a happy customer in Michigan.
These meals and snacks are fantastic. The company actually delivers what they promise and then exceeds your expectations.
You're forced to buy at least six items every week and you have to order seven days in advance, whereas other meal services let you place orders just three days before delivery. The portion sizes are quite large - honestly bigger than I can eat in one sitting. The biggest complaint I have is that there's way too little dressing compared to how much salad you get, so I end up using my own dressing to make it work. Their croutons are tiny and flavorless, so I add my own too. The chia cups and fruit bowls were pretty good though. The real issue is there isn't enough variety in the weekly menu options to make ordering feel fresh - you end up eating the same salads repeatedly. Because of their shipping schedule, your salads are already three to four days old before they even get to you, so calling them fresh is a stretch. Since you have to eat one daily for them to stay good, they start going bad a day or two after you receive them.
This is my second time using them and I'm disappointed both times. My first order arrived with completely wilted salads - a hundred dollars wasted on terrible lettuce. I tried reaching out to customer service and got no response at all. I thought I'd give them one more shot, but that was a mistake. My second delivery came with the exact same problem - the lettuce was already wilted. The quality is really poor. I won't be ordering from them again.
There are tons of pre-made meal companies out there claiming they use executive chefs, but most of them fall flat. Gardencup is different - the portions are actually reasonable for your health, and the food legitimately tastes good. We're talking fresh salads, quality soups that aren't overly salty, and so much more. I wanted to get healthier and eat more vegetables while cutting back on carbs. The results speak for themselves - I've lost over 10 pounds and feel fantastic!
This company's salads are top notch. I get a reliable delivery every Wednesday, and my salads stay fresh for a full week - the Kale salad especially lasts great. I'd like to see them expand their plant-based menu options while keeping up the excellent freshness, quality, and customer service they're known for. Thanks for providing such a great experience.
The salads from this company are really excellent quality. My delivery comes every Wednesday like clockwork, and these salads stay fresh for the entire week - especially the Kale option. I'd love to see them add more plant-based choices and keep up with their impressive standards for freshness, quality, and how they treat customers. I'm really grateful for the fantastic service.
Most of the items were fine, but a few of the cherry tomatoes had an off taste. Several of my cups started browning within a day of arrival, and honestly, there wasn't enough dressing in any of them.
Just got my first order this week and here's what I'm thinking so far about Gardencup. My delivery showed up in three days, which was really fast. The containers are super sturdy and high quality. So far I've tried the Tuna Salad, Berry Parfait, and Cobb Salad, and they all taste great. Each one is honestly enough for two to three meals. I will say the lettuce was just slightly wilted, but honestly after being shipped for days that's totally acceptable. The dressing on the Cobb was tasty, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more. The actual salad portion was huge though - definitely enough for two people. I think it would be nice to have more salad options since ordering the same limited choices every week might get old after a while. Overall I'd recommend giving this a shot and I'll definitely be ordering again.
I really wanted this to work out, but it just didn't. The concept of getting fresh, delicious salads delivered is fantastic, but the reality let me down. Even though I read some negative reviews, I decided to give it a shot anyway. The portion sizes were decent and filling for a meal. The problem is the dressings taste really bland and don't have much flavor, and the proteins are the same way. The Buffalo Chicken salad didn't taste like Buffalo sauce at all, and the Steak salad wasn't great either. Pretty much all of the proteins were flavor-less. The cherry tomatoes in the salads were mostly mushy and gross. I mean, they were okay, but definitely not worth what they're charging. What really got me was their customer service, or lack thereof. When I got charged for two boxes before they were supposed to ship and I called to complain, they basically told me there was nothing they could do about it. I really wish I'd just listened to the other reviews and bought pre-made salads from Walmart instead. I'd have been better off - they're under five bucks and honestly taste just as good or better, like their Southwest Chicken option.
