This isn't about the product quality, but about how Lumens treated me. They claim to do price matching but they totally ignored me when I requested it. I sent several emails with links and screenshots showing the exact same item cheaper elsewhere, and they just ignored all of it. I would've bought from another store if I'd known this would happen. I really thought I could count on them to honor what they advertise. It's really disappointing. They should stop claiming they do price matching on their website if they're not going to actually do it.

I ordered two lamps on November 25th, then found out they were backordered. I called on November 29th asking to cancel and was told it would be canceled with confirmation in 3 to 5 days. But on December 9th I got a shipping notification, so I emailed again requesting a return. They said it was too late to cancel but offered free returns. After getting the package, I emailed on December 21st for a return label. A rep told me it would arrive in 24 to 28 hours. It didn't show up by January 11th, so I emailed again and got the label that same day. I shipped the items back on January 31st and they were signed for at the warehouse on February 4th. No return confirmation or refund came through. I emailed on February 14th asking for both and haven't heard anything. UPDATE: It's now March 10th and I still don't have my refund. I called on March 2nd and talked to someone who said the refund wasn't processed because it was marked as canceled in their system. He claimed he'd reach out to the accounting department but I'm still waiting.

This feels like a complete scam. I ordered a kids gym item a while back and now I'm trying to get my money back.

The headlight finally showed up and it works okay. However, I'm frustrated because I was charged $4.99 for a warranty product that I never agreed to. I immediately emailed asking for a refund but got a generic bot response that completely ignored me. I tried calling two different toll free numbers but couldn't reach anyone. This whole thing has been annoying. You're better off finding a comparable light somewhere else.

I ordered a couple table lamps and they delivered them fine. The issue is they didn't really work for my space so I wanted to return them. I get that returns aren't free, but the return shipping fees Lumens charges are absolutely ridiculous. They're literally double what you'd pay to ship something yourself, which feels really shady and wrong.

They charged me $150 just for a return label on a $150 light fixture. What a rip-off!

This company won't take responsibility when they mess up, and you end up paying for it. I'm doing a long renovation on a place I just bought before moving in. I ordered three large wall sconces for one bedroom and my contractors installed them right away. Later I ordered four more of the same sconces for the living room. The contractors pointed out to me that they looked different. I checked it out and it turned out the first batch were actually smaller cheaper versions without LED. I reached out to Lumens with photos showing the difference and they admitted they'd made a mistake. But since my contractors had already installed them, they refused to take them back. They basically blamed the contractors for installing what they'd received instead of taking responsibility for shipping the wrong product. The customer service person even sarcastically said 'Thanks for sending the pictures which confirm you received your items' when the pictures clearly showed the items were wrong. After more than an hour of them dodging responsibility, they finally gave me a partial refund.

I only got half of my $6000 order and it's been over a month. I've reached out to them multiple times and they still haven't sent me the rest of what I paid for. Their customer service is honestly horrible. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. They'll take your payment no problem but you might not actually get what you ordered.

Don't bother buying from them. I got the wrong product when it arrived, so I had to send it back because they didn't have what I originally ordered. I paid $120 but only got $77 back for their mistake, which is crazy. It's a total scam. Skip this place.

Worst shopping experience I've had online. They sent the wrong light. When I contacted them about getting a replacement, they said they'd send one but then gave me the runaround for a week about 'waiting on the manufacturer's claim process' before emailing that they'd already shipped the correct light. Clearly nobody actually looked at the photos I sent. I had to dispute the charge and leave a bad review just to get anyone to admit something went wrong, and even then they refused my refund request and pressured me into accepting what I'd originally ordered even though I didn't want it anymore. The customer service people were disrespectful and condescending. One agent even cut me off mid-sentence to tell me I could just answer with 'yes' or 'no.' The supervisor acted like my frustration was funny. Just shop literally anywhere else and avoid this hassle. Note from 8/24/25: Their response below shows exactly how they do business. They're always reacting instead of preventing problems, nobody's on the same page, and communication is a mess.

I ordered a flush mount alabaster light that said it was in stock on their website. A month went by and it never shipped with zero notification about any delay. I called and they apologized with a new estimated ship date in late April. That didn't happen. I called back in May and got another delay. After going in circles, they finally said it might not arrive until August and it was coming from China. The rep I talked to didn't seem sorry at all and offered nothing to make it right. I got so frustrated I just asked for my money back. The bottom line is their website stock info and shipping estimates can't be trusted. It was a terrible experience. Go somewhere else.

I ordered on March 6th and the website said items would ship in 1 to 2 days. That didn't happen at all. I called and emailed customer service multiple times and kept hearing it would go out 'next week,' but I didn't actually get the lamps until May 17th over two months later. The website never updated its information either, continuing to show that fake 1 to 2 day estimate when other retailers had way more honest timelines. Now it's mid-June and I'm still waiting on a light bulb that's supposed to ship July 30th nearly five months after I ordered it but the site still claims 3 to 4 days. This is seriously misleading and unacceptable. Don't believe their shipping dates and honestly, don't trust this company. Really bad experience overall.

I bought two ghost chairs from Lumens for $979 total but my credit card got charged $2,222. Over two months I called Lumens four times and each time they assured me the problem was obvious and that accounting or a manager would call me back within 24 to 48 hours. I never got a call back, but eventually my card got refunded $1,127 which is still short of what they owed me. I'm planning to buy four more chairs but I'm getting them from a different company this time.

DO NOT ORDER from here! They never sent the chandelier I ordered in the first place. I had to call multiple times just to get them to send a replacement. When the replacement arrived, it was completely shattered. Not shocking given they shipped it UPS instead of using proper delivery. They asked for pictures proving damage which is fair, but then you'd expect things to move quickly right? Wrong. They actually wanted me to haul an 85 pound broken chandelier to a drop off location myself. I literally had to laugh at that suggestion. Eventually I just canceled the whole order but I still can't get them to pick up the shattered chandelier they sent. On top of everything, they won't give me a refund until they get their chandelier back. I've lost count of how many calls I've made. It's a different person every time who has no idea what's going on. Who even knows if I've been refunded yet. They say one thing on the phone and then nothing actually happens. I explained that I can't hire movers to return their damaged product because that's their fault, not mine. You'd think that wouldn't need explaining, so either they're running a scam or they have serious problems.

I'd recommend staying away from this place. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and the return shipping fees are outrageous. I'm never coming back here!
