Do yourself a favor and use a different bus company for your safety. I took Megabus from Toronto to Ottawa right after Christmas and it was a nightmare. The bus clearly didn't have winter tires and got stuck in Scarborough during snowy conditions. We needed Toronto Police to pull us out with their big rigs. Then it happened again on the highway with zero updates from anyone. People started bailing out because if we're sliding around the city, what happens on the empty highway? We arrived hours late. When I called their customer service line to complain, they made excuses about everything and flat out refused any compensation or credit. This is a cheap, disorganized operation. Other coach companies passing us had proper equipment and weren't stranded. Avoid Megabus and go with someone who actually cares about passenger safety.

I paid for a reserved accessible seat on Megabus but when I showed up, that seat wasn't available. The staff wouldn't honor my booking and refused to help me find another bus with proper accommodations or offer any refund. When I tried calling customer service, they were equally unhelpful. As someone with a disability, I felt really let down and treated unfairly. I've already filed complaints with the relevant Canadian authorities about this situation. I'd definitely recommend checking out other options before choosing Megabus.

I tried to reschedule because my mother came down with COVID and couldn't travel. Megabus said they dropped the Cardiff to London route due to low demand, even though those buses are constantly full and my mother uses that route at least five or six times yearly. I asked for my refund since this was Megabus pulling the service, not a customer problem. They refused. I don't get it at all. My mother should absolutely get her money back when the company stops offering the service. I'm using them for my own trip coming up, but if I had a choice I'd switch to National Express because honestly Megabus doesn't deserve the business.

This company lacks any real professionalism. My booking showed a 12:30 departure but they left at 12:19 with absolutely no warning. I called asking where the bus was and the woman who answered put me on hold two separate times for roughly ten minutes and still couldn't help answer my questions while I was stuck outside in the cold. She suggested rebooking but that cost me more money since it was last minute plus another booking fee. They're really just after your money and don't respect customers at all. I'd stay away.

The staff member at the Atlanta station was absolutely wonderful! He was respectful and actually came across the street to help me with my luggage without even knowing my foot was really bothering me. He had such a kind demeanor and was genuinely protective of all the passengers. I felt totally safe and protected on that trip.

I'm so grateful for Megabus. My daughter's flight got delayed and then completely canceled while she had a layover in Washington DC. The airline said the next flight to New York wasn't until Saturday. Are they serious? Did they think we're all millionaires who can just stay in a hotel for two nights? I looked at Amtrak at nearly two hundred dollars versus Megabus at forty dollars. We'd never heard of them before but wow, I'm telling everyone now. Thank you so much for getting my daughter home safely the same night!

The service was fantastic! I got to where I was going safely and on schedule. Just a heads up though, if you don't pre-reserve your seat, get there early because the check-in lines get pretty backed up.

I genuinely look forward to riding with Mega Bus! The drivers are really professional and I'm always impressed. The bus is super clean and the fares are amazing! One small suggestion would be adding a second restroom if that's feasible. Highly recommend. Oh, and maybe keep the noise levels down a bit.

It's not fancy but you honestly can't beat the price compared to other options. The buses are well maintained, run smoothly, and have solid air conditioning.
