Took my car to Pep Boys and they spent over a week just looking at it without figuring out what was wrong. While they were trying to diagnose the problem, they started ordering parts without even asking me first. They kept charging me for work even though nobody seemed to be actually working on it. Every time I called they had some excuse about waiting for something. They'd say it would be ready soon, then go silent. When I'd call back, they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and treated me like I was clueless. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a repair shop. Spent over $2,000 just to be told they don't know what's wrong, and I still had to pay all of it.

Booked an appointment for an oil change and spent an hour and a half waiting with just a couple other people in the waiting room. While they had my car, they moved it a short distance around the lot, switched my radio to a different station, and left my window down while it was raining outside. You'd think basic respect for someone's vehicle would be standard. I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Purchased tires from this location and scheduled a rotation appointment well in advance. When I showed up, I was told their tire technician had quit and they couldn't do the work. That's basically their whole business. They only have one person doing tires? I've been a loyal customer for years, but the quality has gone downhill recently. We won't be coming back. There are much better tire shops out there now. Honestly wouldn't be upset to see this place close down.

My father had to get it towed to another shop for another $950, which the first location promised to reimburse but never did. The second shop charged an additional $665 for more repairs that still didn't solve the problem. An independent inspection later revealed a missing caliper bolt, a critical safety failure that could have caused an accident, plus warped rotors that were almost brand new. The regional manager admitted the first location was responsible, but corporate Pep Boys has completely ignored requests for reimbursement or acknowledgment of the dangerous work. My father's safety clearly didn't matter to them. We're out over $3,000 for work that was done improperly and put his life at risk. If you care about your safety and your wallet, go somewhere else.

I'd recommend going to shops that have been in business for decades if you want real expertise. After I complained, someone from Pep Boys emailed me and a staff member called. She was dismissive and rude, acting like I was the one who should have known what was wrong with my car. She was confrontational from the start when I dropped off the vehicle. I would've let this go if they'd just owned up to the mistake, but instead they blamed me and made it worse.

I paid for that warranty expecting quality work and some peace of mind, but instead got a patch job, a broken sensor, and zero help. When I called to complain, they didn't really care and didn't offer any solution. If you're thinking about buying tires or a warranty from this place, I'd say skip it. They don't stand behind their work and they don't care about making things right with customers. Find somewhere that actually values your business.

Visited a local Pep Boys for service and had a terrible time. I had an 8:30 AM appointment scheduled. After sitting for 20 minutes, I asked when they'd work on my car. Turns out the technician wasn't even there yet and wouldn't be in for another 10 or 15 minutes. What should have been a simple oil change with an appointment ended up taking over an hour. A few days later, my battery died while I was out with my young grandson, stranding us in a parking lot. When I called the shop to ask about their courtesy inspection, they said they check fluids, tire tread, and battery. My battery was already failing at the time of service and my fluid levels were low, but nobody told me. The manager said they should have topped off the fluids as part of the service. After I called to complain, he was really rude and unprofessional and hung up on me. He texted me later with the inspection report showing the battery needed attention, but they never mentioned any of this when I picked up my car. The manager did nothing to fix this poor service.

The service I received was absolutely terrible. The staff was aggressive, loud, and used excessive profanity. They weren't willing to work with me or be reasonable. I left and took my $2,000 to a different tire shop. I won't go back and I'm going to tell everyone I know about how bad this place is.

Visited my local Pep Boys and something felt off. The ownership has changed hands a few times lately, and I decided to check things out. Turns out I was right to be suspicious. Got a quote for $1,300 worth of sketchy repairs. Went to the shop next door and they said my brakes and rotors are fine. Squeaky ceramic brakes are totally normal. I didn't need any of those other repairs they were pushing. Plus, I just had brakes done there six months ago and they wanted to replace one of those too. Used to trust this place for 15 years under the old owners, but things really deteriorated. Makes me wonder what they try to sell to customers who don't know as much about cars.

This place isn't what it seems. Their prices are higher than competitors, and they'll push you to buy work you don't actually need. You can't even be sure they'll actually do the work they charge you for unless you take it somewhere else to be inspected. Good luck getting a refund if something's wrong. I don't trust anything they tell me anymore, and neither should you.

This is honestly the best tire shop I've ever worked with. Definitely recommend them and will be back. Everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the service.
