You can return eligible items within 30 days of receiving an order or 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery items for a refund.

Items non-eligible for returns or exchanges:

  • Items without an original receipt or gift receipt

  • Monogrammed items 

  • Mattresses 

  • Gift cards 

  • Made to Order Items, including custom rugs, furniture, and faucets and shower sets

How to Return at Pottery Barn

1. Bring to UPS Location - You should provide some details to receive a UPS shipping label for use at a UPS drop-off location. Items must be packed in the original box with proper protection. You may be responsible for return shipping costs. Return item(s) must have originally been shipped to the United States (includes US Territories and APO/FPO) only.

2. By Phone - You can call Customer Care at 1.888.779.5176 for furniture items.

3. In store - You can return non-furniture items to your local Pottery Barn.

1. What does “Quick Ship” mean?

An upholstered item marked as "Quick Ship" means that it is stocked at one of Pottery Barn’s warehouses, and is available to be delivered within 2 to 4 weeks. There is no additional charge for Quick Ship items. 

2. Can I ship an order to an APO/FPO address?

Yes, for an additional charge of $10.

3. Can I get a student discount when I shop at Pottery Barn?

Yes, you can receive up to 15% off your order when you register using your .edu email address on Pottery Barn Teen.
