Very little in the way of refunding…

Very little in the way of refunding money. Read the fine print and do not book if non-refundable. Third party issues if the hotel rejects your reservation Agoda will not refund your money. Can be affordable but enter at your own risk.

Useless customer service and rubbish website

Agonda always hide the things behind the booking hidden charges and all Which ever booking deal provide they have no idea what hotel will ask customer when they go to check in I booked the hotel just today and paid upfront everything as I reach the hotel they ask for 100 security deposit First time in my life I see hotel ask for security deposit

Horrible third party website

Horrible third party website. Will never use it again. 1st booking- Free cancellation type of booking for a Home2Suites in Dallas. Called the day of my arrival and the hotel says I don’t have a reservation and I will need to call Agoda to sort it out, despite me having a confirmation email. So I called Agoda. Waited 40 mins, someone finally took my info, I explained the situation, just to hear “oh I’m sorry to hear that, let me take a look” and the line goes silent and then gone. Since I was flying out in 2 hours, I called the hotel again and booked a day of reservation for a much higher price. Luckily since my first reservation was pay upon check in, but the hotel doesnt have a reservation, they ensured I won’t be charged twice. 2nd booking - (I made both reservations around the same time). This one was pre-paid though. I call the hotel and they confirmed I did have a reservation. So I thought, okay, Agoda may actually be ok. Until I tried to cancel to book another hotel and neither the hotel nor Agoda was able to help because it was booked through 3rd party. So I stayed with my reservation. Then on check out, I ask for a receipt and told since I pre-paid by third party, they get my invoice, not me. I was like WTH. I’m traveling through work, a receipt with tax breakdown is a requirement. I end up getting one. Only to open the receipt and find a price discrepancy of around 30 something dollars. I pre-paid $347, invoice said I paid $309. So now I need to convince my company I really did get charged $347 to get fully reimbursed. All around just terrible experiences.

RUN AWAY... SINGAPORE/BANGKOK LOW RATING FOR A REASON!

Listen to me and don't get sucked in by the low prices of this sorry excuse of a booking site... DO NOT USE THEM.... EVER! There is a reason why this low rent org that operates from Singapore and Bangkok and has a Trust Pilot rating of 2. If you have ANY issues or problems, they will ignore helping you. Once they get your money, they are GONE! The paltry $1 or two lower price isn't worth it. You will regret using them... go to Expedia or another site that has a better reputation. Always remember, you get what you pay for. You have been warned.

Customer service is the worst

Customer service is the worst! We booked a hotel for someone else as a surprise, but when we tried to call them to modify or change, they said they can only talk to the person who's staying in that hotel. What the heck? We are the ones who paid for it? What kind of stupid logic is this? As cardholder we are the ones who has authority to say go or not! We are the ones who pays for their stay! We will never use this service ever again!

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service I’ve booked a “ penthouse “ in Bucharest which at the end came 2 bedroom very dirty apartments with NO working jacuzzi and no parking Complaint straight away and received only stupid excuses and suggestions for 10 euro refund Avoid , avoid , avoid !!!

They just stole my money

Worst experience. Their app made a glitch and changed my 2 booking dates into 1 completely other date. First getting in contact with customer service was so difficult. Took me an hour to get a contact out them, they REALLY don't want to talk to their customers. I would expect them to fix the problem or at least cancel, but they didnt want, and they now have just stolen the money i paid for a date that i did not book. Insane! I can't grasp that they just stole my money by changing the date, its crazy. I read online that many have had this problem, so think twice before ordering with them and consider booking dot com for much better customer service. ..or a little better.

Terrible experience: double payment and complex refund process.

I booked and paid for my stay online through Agoda. However, upon arrival at the hotel, they could see the reservation but not the payment. I was forced to pay again, and at a higher rate than originally booked. The issue was not resolved during my stay.After multiple emails and sharing sensitive data, I finally received a refund, but only for the original amount. To make things worse, the refund was processed through a payment platform I didn't even use, forcing me to register just to get my money back. A huge waste of time and a very stressful experience. Be careful when booking with them.
