I'm not happy with the fact it keeps saying on the tele Aldi was voted the cheapest on value for money on food which is rubbish when Aldi first came to England they were a fantastic store I remember being able to buy a full weeks shopping for £30.00 an now look it's more than doubled for a full weeks shopping so where do they get that they are the UK,s cheapest store cos they ain't what's happened to this store or have they got greedy like the main big stores like tesco asda sainsburys etc I'll stop going to them they are like every other store ripping the British people off.

Just visited Daventry Aldi store and purchased some snacks for the weekend. I opened one of the multipacks of crisps only to discover that they expired on 28th February 2026 (today is 10th April!!). I contacted customer services and they were not bothered and said they could not do anything or contact the store. If I wanted a refund I had to go back to that store (it is not my local one) and sort it out myself. I would think they should be a bit more concerned about selling items that are 6 weeks out of date but clearly not. I will certainly be checking dates on items going forward which I have never had to do before. Hoping it is just an issue with the Daventry store but expected better from customer services.

Store #21District manager: Rory (no last name given)Employees: a white man with piercing and a shaved head who appeared to be in his thirties and a white woman with black hair who appeared to be in her 40s/early 50sThe people who are working at Aldi this morning, April 6th at 9:23am (The mail associate was probably clocking in at 9:30) were EXTREMELY rude. I got a picture of the man who is mean mugging of Latino woman, myself, and my partner as we were walking up to the register, and of the woman who decided to cover for him. He literally stared her down like he was a cop when he wasn't one, like a rent-a-cop, like he was going to do something to her or myself, another female. As I asked the cashier, who was the only person working at 9:23 a.m. at the only cash register up front, what his name was so I could report him, and she lied to our faces and said that she was new here...after we watched her greet him. I cut her off because I knew she was lying, and she laughed in our faces like there was nothing we could do about it because she wouldn't divulge his information. It's okay though, because I took their photo before we even checked out because the vibes were that off. You could tell that there was something wrong mentally with both of them. They physically scared the poor Latina woman enough for her to actually run up and down the aisle to get what she needed as well. Extreme levels of harassment, bullying, and enabling a hostile environment across the board. Absolutely disgusting, and we will never be coming back. We've also put up one star reviews about the experience and put the photo up as well. If it gets taken down, we will put it right back up and continue doing so.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Aldi in Failsworth that I feel needs to be addressed. During my visit, I encountered behavior from the store manager Sarah that came across as both rude and dismissive, which made the situation uncomfortable from the start.What concerned me the most was the way the manager appeared to treat Asian customers differently. The tone, attitude, and lack of willingness to help felt noticeably unfair and, in my experience, discriminatory. Instead of offering support or resolving the issue professionally, the manager was unhelpful and seemed unwilling to engage respectfully. Furthermore when I spoke to other customers who seen the manager dismissive and unhelpful tone, they agreed on my view and said they would never be coming back.As a customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and equal treatment regardless of background. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. I hope this is taken seriously and that steps are put in place to ensure all customers are treated with fairness and respect in the future.

I had one of the most horrible shopping experience at Aldi. After completing my shopping, my friend and I waited in a self-checkout queue as we had a bunch of coins, a five pound note and a £2 coin. Our shopping came up to about £11 and having paid some of the higher denomination cash we had, we were only left with about £4 to complete payment of which we had it in loose coins ranging from 5p to 20p. As we paid, the machine malfunctioned and we sort assistance which promptly came but aske we pay the rest using a card payment system. As we had not anticipated this to happen, we hadn't brought any bank cards. The supervisor who came to assist us then became very rude and tried very hard to embarrass us for not using and having the "right" type of money and that we should go to the bank and change the coins to note a Aldi was not a bank. This soon escalated to the point the supervisor became aggressively violent and threatening to assault us. We then asked him why he was getting mad at us for using coins to which he replied we were annoying him and stupid to bring such a large amount of coins to pay in a shop. We then said it was well within our rights and that it was part of his job to assist us. That's when he really lost the plot to the point he had to be stopped by his colleagues before he assaulted us. He then lied to his manager that we didn't have enough money to pay and he had used his own card to pay for our shopping. As we tried to narrate our story to the manager. He also said he was not willing to hear our side of the story nor from his other colleagues who had watched the whole drama unravel. He al accused us of being silly forever bring many coins to pay at a self-service checkout.

I HOPE ALDI READS THIS REVIEW. ALWAYS BOUGHT THE BRAMWELLS CHICKEN & VEGETABLE CHUNKY SOUP. ALWAYS BEEN HOLSOM THICK AND PLENTY OF CHICKEN IN IT. EVEN HAVING DIG IT OUT OF THE TIN. NOT ANYMORE. OPENED TWO TINS AND IT POORED OUT WITH NO EFFORT. LITERALLY TWO PIECES OF CHICKEN IN THE TWO TINS. IN MY ESTIMATION 30% IS WATERED DOWN FROM WHAT IT USED TO BE.. WELL DONE BRAMWELLS. Another cheese pairing company.

The shop at the orbital retail pack in Cannock I noticed I am being profiled and micro racism from a staff. On 2 occasions after self checking out she asked if I remembered to take my receipt. The first time I didn't take it into consideration but the second time raised my eyebrows. I asked myself why she would ask if I got my receipt again when I actually have the option of not taking a receipt. Today I went shopping, I got what I needed and then went to get candles. I later left the candles and went to self check out. After scanning my items and proceeding to pay, this very same staff came ask why I did not scan the candles. Accusing me of stealing while paying.I was angry, gave her my bag to search and asked if she was profiling me. When I raised my voice, a cashier on the till asked me to leave the shop which made me even angrier. The manager came, I told her what happened and she responded that her colleague was just doing her job. I got accused of stealing what was not in my bag while paying and all the manager had to say was I was creating a scene.

These jokers don't honor your requested curbside pick-up time. It's like almost the end of the hour before they finally contact you and proclaim the shopper finally started shopping. At least tell us you're running late while we waste our time waiting and wondering what you're doing! Get a phone number already! It's insane you can't contact anyone except through an online form, and they never get back to you! No way to cancel an order! They're crazy! They also have a nasty knack of deleting items from a saved cart after a week!
