Most of the sellers on AliExpress are cheaters. They scam by shipping the products different from that of description. They do not honor 'Free Returns' process. Very cheap quality, especially of clothes. Most of them are horrible digital prints. The material and chemicals they use are not healthy. Be careful buying from this site (and also from other sellers based in China).

Ali Express simply absolved themselves from any responsibility from their delivery partner Speedaf in South Africa. I paid over R1,200 for an item shipped last year in December 2025. Having paid all custom duties, the parcel is now simply stuck at customs with Speedaf. I requested assistance from Ali Express and asked for a refund. They simply respond with automated AI response that forces you to provide evidence you cannot provide because Speedaf cannot be reached in South Africa. The help line published goes to Vodacom's call centers. Having explained all this to Ali Express they simply declined my request and said I have no evidence to substantiate the case.You simply cannot win this battle with AliExpress.

The products are generally good when purchased from a trusted seller. The main issues arise when something unexpected occurs; until now, even such problems were resolved easily. This time, however, the platform is ignoring the facts and attempting to claim everything is in order.The platform clearly states that VAT is included in the payment and should, therefore, be handled directly by them. However, the customs authority has confirmed that the required IOSS VAT payment information was not provided by them. As a result, I, the buyer, was forced to pay the VAT again to receive my parcel.Now, the AliExpress platform denies responsibility for handling the IOSS VAT payment and instead blames the seller. Consequently, no one is willing to reimburse me for the financial loss I incurred - or for the cost to my time and nerves spent fighting their dismissive, evidence-blind responses.Be aware that if something similar happens to you, be prepared to lose money. I advise you not to proceed with the extra payment, so the parcel will be returned and you can claim a standard refund for an unreceived item. I would now prefer to use local online shops instead of risking such a scam.

Scam site. Bought a car scanner for 200 euros, arrived with a broken LCD screen. Half a refund of 100 euros even with several appeals. It has so called "partial value". Hopefully the car codes will appear in the tiny portion of the screen that's still legible. If it was a TV I could still partially enjoy the movie I suppose. Stick with Amazon.

Disappointed! I bought a coat suit from Aliexpress. It didn't arrive on the delivery date they promised and it didn't even fit me despite me ordering one size bigger than usual. Whether the Vendor nor Aliexpress accepted the delay (they denied and said I don't have any evidence; this is not okay) and weren't ready to find a solution. I have bought clothes from several online shops but never made such a disappointing experience!

Business customers beware - no valid TAX invoices! I learned to my surprise, that while AliExpress offers "reseller" and "wholesale" accounts, you have no chance of getting a valid TAX invoice. The payment "receipts" from the platform are useless from an accounting perspective. AliExpress Support claims you should chase sellers for individual orders, and sellers just refuse to issues invoices. So as a business, you cannot correctly deduct the expenses. However, they always pretend everywhere that sellers are obliged to adhere to the local market regulation. They don't, and AliExpress doesn't care. I've never had that bad of an experience on an Ecommerce platform.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Only shop here if you are happy to potentially lose what you paid when receiving faulty/damaged items. Returns process requires levels of videos, photos and correspondence that is nearly impossible to attain - and then rehect the claim. This has now happened on multiple occasions. Disgraceful, dishonest, unethical business practices - avoid them like the plague!

what a load of Crrpp. No wonder Shein and Temu came in yesterday and managed to figure out fast international shipping options. these sleeping giants here will have your parcel in transit for 3 months, lose it in the process, and then refuse to refund you. the refund depends on how the person you are talking to feels. Some can be accepted and some rejected while your reasons and proof provided are the same. what a shame of a platform

Further to my last review i was contacted by Ali themselves to try and resolve my issues, I was met with charm in the first few emails, then the emails became generic, none of my questions got any answers and they still haven't sent my items which I have paid for, as this is clearly theft and they are not answering any of my concerns I have little option now that to seek legal action, they are quick to take your money off you but refuse to refund or help, they treat you with the most utter most disrespect if you contact them via there online and phone helpline and then they will not help you!!!!I will advise anyone who reads this to not shop with Ali Express. It's good if its for little one offs now and again but if its something important and it goes wrong dont expect any help from them getting it sorted, as anything you ask will be ignored.Also when they contacted me via my trust pilot review, it was clearly just to try and save face as again no help was given. Im still waiting on my refund and missing items ordered.
