I recently had a stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for a conference. The hotel is beautiful and the staff there are great. However, Accor dropped the ball with my interaction with them. I booked my stay directly with the hotel with a conference code and rate. I saw on my loyalty profile that my stay was not earning loyalty and reward points, so I inquired with Accor. First they told me my stay didn't qualify because it was made with a third party. I told them it was made directly with the hotel. Then they changed their answer to it not qualifying because it was at their discounted rate (I ended up cancelling this reservation given its high cost without loyalty rewards). It is disappointing to learn that Accor does not value their loyal clients enough to reward them for participating in conferences at their hotels. Most of my travel is for conferences, and with this policy in place, I am uncertain if I will continue to go out of my way to stay at Accor hotels in the future, especially for conferences. It further disappoints me that this is how Accor treated one of their Platinum members.

Went to use their gift card service input the information correctly after 4th time gave up their system is rubbish..!! so we went with Rydges which was straight forward and done in 5 minutes..!!

This is the biggest rip off of all time. Do not join. Nearly impossible to use your free nights and when there is availability there is another surcharge to pay.

Spent a week at the Sebel in Busselton WA. Found the staff rude and directed by Accor to discriminate against Pensioners. After being encouraged to join an Accor promotion we were subsequently rejected when they found out we were Pensioners. It was very embarrassing and misguided after we were spending nearly $400 per night for a very average room with little or no hot water. I advise Pensioners to think twice before using this group.

Having stayed at the Novotel, Chamiers road, Chennai for 3 nights, I must say stay here is quite comfortable.The food exchange on first floor serves amazing buffet breakfast and meals. They cater to a variety of cuisines, be it north/south Indian, south east Asian, continental. Nisarg and his team in the food exchange take very good care of the guests and go the extra mile to ensure the guests have a wonderful culinary experience.Thank you ! Looking forward to stay here again.

At Hotel des Colonies in Brussels, which is part of Mercure/Accor, I booked an (overpriced) executive room online. Upon arrival the concierge could not find the room, opened the door to a room with a sleeping guest in it; then opened to another room, where the light did not work; went down, came back and said that all the executive rooms were dirty. I was placed in a substandard, badly bchemically smelling room, with loose parts. The iron board I had to borrow, and it was dirty and the iron board wobly, small and useless. The hotel was under construction and all was dirty. The coffee machine in the reception did not work, and there was none in the room, and no racks for hanging a jacket. The hair dryer burnt down after one minute and I had to go to work with wet hair. I have complained, have not gotten a refund and have not heard back from them. It seemed like there was no superior oversight of the place, no one took responsibility. The only good thing was that the receptionist was helpful and equally upset about the poor standard.

recently used ibis budget at the manchester airport where i received a fine of £60 for unloading my cases for 14minutes and 23 seconds. It is the way how treat customers? I have used hotels of this company in various countries and I have been shocked by such an attitude.I will not use any hotels of this company any more in my life! Greedy people

I had a very frustrating experience using your booking system for the first time.There were four separate attempts to make a reservation. The first attempt got completely stuck during the process, leaving me unable to proceed for hours. The second attempt resulted in a pending payment, but I received no confirmation, no email, and no notification in the app.The third attempt finally went through successfully — the payment was completed and I received confirmation.However, the fourth booking was automatically duplicated by your system without my intention, leaving me with multiple reservations for the exact same rooms and dates.To make matters worse, some bookings were cancelled without any explanation or notification. The app provides unclear and inconsistent information, making it very difficult to understand what is actually confirmed and what is not.I contacted customer service, but they were unable to clearly explain what happened or resolve the issue. I was even transferred to the hotel reception and left on hold with no response.Overall, this has been a very poor experience: unreliable system, lack of communication, no notifications, and ineffective customer support. I am extremely concerned about being charged multiple times for the same booking.Please urgently investigate this issue, fix the errors in your system, and ensure I am not charged twice for duplicate reservations.

I was a paying Accor member for years, but the membership never felt worth the annual fee. The “free night” was very limited, the discounts didn’t make much difference, and even the Gold welcome gift was sometimes just a standard water bottle — something many hotels already offer.The final straw was a promotion I accepted and completed, but Accor didn’t honour it. When I tried to discuss it over the phone, they told me to send an email instead, and the follow‑up wasn’t helpful. Unfortunately, my years of loyalty didn’t account for anything.
