Over it

Over it! They're customer service support system lies to you. Waiting for a late order. I call to find out about my order..1 agent says. Out for delivery1 agent says it hasn't shipped yet1 agent says order on hold but will get todayFull of lies... They say whatever they want to you... why have Prime if it's never delivered when it says it's supposed to be delivered. They do not care about your at all... once they get your money.. who cares. Horrible Horrible

Amazon, even with prime delivery routinely uses some of the worst couriers, giving us little to no say in the matter

I buy a fair amount from Amazon, and from time to time use Prime Delivery. One recurring problem is that more and more items on Amazon are being shipped directly from China. While I have no problem with Chinese goods, the shipping from China is awful, and often it seems that the need for adequate packaging is not understood, as fragile items are routinely shipped in flimsy paper or single layer bubble wrap. As though this is not bad enough, many items are then picked up by Evri, arguably the worst courier in the UK. I currently have one item, supposedly being delivered by Evri which shipped in the UK to my UK address. I live close to the Humber Bridge, the parcel was picked up by Evri and taken to the Barnsley hub, then for some reason only understood by Evri, it was taken to Southampton, Evri described this error as a 'delay' what they meant by delay, is 'monumental screw-up' and this is their speciality, they are very good at being exceptionally bad. Next the parcel came back up the country to Rugby, then on to Sheffield; so now it is almost back where it started, but so far, it is late, and it is not any closer to reaching me.I also have two parcels from China being delivered by CNE Express, a Chinese courier, who are actually worse than Evri, their tracking just never changes, once or twice maybe, it did update almost a week after the goods where finally delivered. I have not received either of these parcels, and have now been refunded, though I was not asked if this was what I desired, and nothing on Amazon, or CNE Express shows if the orders have been cancelled or what. I left AliExpress because of chronically late deliveries coupled with totally inadequate packaging, and now it seems that Amazon has begun to embrace the same awful setup, but charges significantly higher prices, for the same terrible service. Buying on Amazon is getting to be like putting your hard earned cash in a fruit machine, sometimes you win, but mostly, you don't. From here on in, I will only use Amazon when there is no other alternative. Even then I will really question if the item I am looking for is truly a requirement, because in all honesty, I can do without the stress of chasing up on late deliveries, and items arriving damaged because of completely inadequate packing.Due to health issues, I am stuck with buying online, but if I was well enough, I would buy from local shops, which provide an all round better service.Useless couriers, along with companies and individuals who send out badly packaged goods are slowly killing online buying. There are some decent reliable delivery services, but eBay, Amazon and many other online sales platforms seem drawn to the worst of what is available. More and more, our right to choose the delivery service we want, is being removed, and replaced by what the likes of Amazon and eBay think are the best choices, but they do not have the right to dictate how our paid for items are delivered, with online buying, the delivery method is part of the transaction, and in the same way we choose the items to buy, we have the right to choose how the items will be delivered. After all, we are the ones paying for the delivery service. Don't be fooled by 'Free postage and Packing' there is no such thing. The couriers always charge, and as the buyer, we always pay that charge. So we have every right to choose what we pay for.

I'm not even sure they deserve a 3 star…

I'm not even sure they deserve a 3 star however I enjoy the convenience of the app and shopping. The cons of Amazon has now risen greatly because some delivery drivers are lazy and don't want to drive far. Especially from one warehouse. Packages are always late meanwhile we pay for prime. We get packages for our neighbors all the time meanwhile they have to pass out numerical on the way to the door. It's like people are so stupid they can't even read to verify it's the right address. I leave out snacks for our delivery drivers to thank them and then not only do I have someone else's package, they take the snacks that aren't meant for them. That costs me more unnecessary money! Also, there's some scamming and fraud going on since my elderly neighbors called the phone number for prime that they saw on their tv, spoke to someone in a call center there, who told them they could be a member for 3 years for 350 dollars. Them gave them his personal cell phone number to help them set up the account. They could not get the account log in to work so I was helping them. Turns out they didn't have an account and were charged for a service Amazon does not provide. I called the guy exposed his fraud. He didn't care one bit and was not scared. Nothing ever came of it and their bank was able to refund them. But that does not take care of the internal fraud. When on prime, every other movie you still have to pay for on top of the already high yearly cost for crap service!This app/business had the ability to be 5⭐ but there's so many issues that I doubt it could ever get that good. For the amount you make from the high costs us customers pay, DO BETTER!!

Amazon does not allow honest reviews on…

Amazon does not allow honest reviews on their website about anything *Amazon,* so, I am reviewing here. I have ordered a lot over the years, and the service--packaging, delivery--has gotten progressively worse. The delivery drivers leave packages where they are not allowed to, they lie about where they do leave them, and I often get the wrong item.I recently received the wrong color of an item I needed right away (so did not have the time to return it), and the delivery notice said it was "placed in mailbox," which is impossible without a key. It was tossed in front of the building's entry door--no one rang my bell.I've found a couple of alternates to Amazon, which I'll be using from now on.

Good variety but shipping can be slow.I love the selection of products available, but I've noticed that shipping times have become a bit inconsistent lately. The customer support is helpful, but I wish the delivery estimates were more accurate. Still, it’s my go-to place for daily needs.

I would give it 0 stars this is the second time in a few weeks this has happened my order today was for my daughters 30 on Saturday and when I placed the order I paid an extra 1.99 even though I am prime member to come between 7to 10 pm on the same day it was ok till 9 pm then said will be delivered by the 24 of February this is the worse company vthe drivers are getting from bad to worst at Amazon this happened a few weeks ago I wrote again why hasn’t this been highlighted

I have ordered many times from Amazon, on average I would say they do the job. Nothing fancy but gets the work done. Once my product was a bit broken but I returned it, I had to pay for the return myself tho

No Accountability

I’ve sent Amazon the receipts that were paid to a 3rd party supplier who refuse to refund $200 worth of clothes that I want to return.Bruce Harringtons from Vancouver is the company under question and Amazons refusal to deal with this is disgraceful noting that the company has a 30 day return policy.DON’T EXPECT AMAZON TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THISE WHO SELL ON THEIR SITE AS THEY SHOULD BE.We will now reduce what we order on this site do to this non action

4 out of 5 stars for amazon

I’ve been shopping on Amazon for years, and overall, my experience continues to be quite positive. Delivery is usually very fast. Most of my orders arrive earlier than expected, and when there’s an issue (like a delayed shipment or an item that’s not quite right), Amazon’s customer service has always been responsive and helpful (aside from peak hours then it takes a bit longer). The return process is especially smooth printing a return label and dropping something off at a pickup point takes just a few minutes max.The reason I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes third party sellers can be inconsistent. A few times I’ve gotten items that didn’t quite match the description for ex, when I bought wireless headphones with ANC The ANC was extremely weak, and it can take a bit of effort to sort that out. I also wish their customer service lines were a little easier to reach during peak times. But overall good website.
