I wanted to share a genuinely excellent customer service experience with Aspinal of London.I recently had an issue with an order placed for Mother’s Day, where a personalised item unfortunately failed quality control and was only flagged very late. Naturally, this was quite stressful given the timing.However, what followed completely changed the experience.Gaby from the customer care team handled everything with exceptional professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. She took full ownership of the situation, communicated clearly and promptly, and went above and beyond to find a solution — including arranging thoughtful replacements and accommodating specific requests without hesitation.What really stood out was the care and consistency of her communication. At every stage, I felt listened to, understood, and genuinely looked after — which is exactly what you hope for from a brand like Aspinal.Issues can happen, but it’s how they are handled that defines a brand. In this case, the resolution and level of service were outstanding.Thank you again, Gaby — it really did make all the difference.

Ordered a necklace. It arrived in a box with a thumb print on the gold logo. Worse than that, the presentation was disgusting. On opening the box, the chain was all knotted. Never seen anything like it. Clearly looked like it had already been sent out to another customer. Rang customer care who apologised & that they would pass the complaint on. No email or nothing from Aspinal. Item was returned. Disgusted with them as I've been a good customer. I won't be purchasing again

I ordered my first bag from Aspinal, loved it and everything was handled smoothly. I decided to order another bag and they sent me a bag that was broken. I sent an email asking for a return label on 19/2 2026 but haven't heard anything back. Have been in touch with the customer service via email and chat several times and sent photos. I was promised they will send a return label. Have not heard anything at all. Very disappointed, I thought I found a company with quality products and smooth customer service, but the reality is anything but.

I had to return an item. Gaby from customer service was exceptional. She was responsive, always followed up quickly, polite and efficient. It’s refreshing to get a good service in retail sector- hence the reason for this short review.

I recently purchased the whisky flask from Aspinal of London, expecting a very high level of quality given the brand’s reputation and the price point.The flask itself is nicely made and the leather covering is excellent – exactly what you would expect from Aspinal. It looks smart and feels good in the hand.However, I was disappointed to find that the small holder that connects the lid to the flask appears to be chrome-plated plastic rather than stainless steel or another metal. On a product positioned as a luxury item, this feels like a cost-cutting detail and lets the overall quality down.The reason I bought this flask was to replace an old one I received free many years ago with a bottle of whisky. Ironically, that older flask appears to be made to the same standard – if not better – apart from the branding.For a premium brand like Aspinal of London, I expected the materials to be top quality throughout. It’s a good-looking flask, but the plastic lid holder makes it feel less premium than it should be.Overall: nice design and leather finish, but disappointing materials on a small yet important detail.

Navigating and purchasing on the Website was easy. A week later i hold my phone cover in hands. Very luxury feeling. The cover fits tight and nothing wiggles and wobbels. All buttons work properly. I can recomend this product and company.

Purchased an Evergreen Trunk handbag, and the quality of the bag was super bad. It looked used, worn down, the leather was stained, the bag inside around the lock was dirty, dust standing in it. The metallic parts had scratches on them. It looked like I was getting a second hand bag or a bag which was digged out from a far away corner of a warehouse, however I was paying for a high quality "luxury" bag. I am only giving 2 stars, because they refunded me quite fast, which I appreciate. When I wrote to customer service and complained, they did not even seem surprised and just send me the return label immediately.

Purchased a hip flask for my husband for our wedding anniversary and was initially very impressed by the product itself. However after 8 months and minimal use the popper has broken. This is where the company has gone way down in my estimation. I tried to use the online chat facility, an agent came online straight away but after two hours still had not replied to my messages. I then tried emailing and received an automated response saying response time is normally 48 hours. After 5 days of no contact I tried WhatsApp, gave all the information again yesterday and rather than any apology was just asked for my email address, despite me already providing this twice in the conversation. STILL no response received. Absolutely appalling customer service that would make me think twice before recommending or buying anything else from this company.
