Switched from T Mobile to AT&T. BIG mistake! Sales rep told us it was better...looked at the coverage map...looked better. Well...it is NOT better. Stuck with them for 18 more months. Will be going Back to T Mobile.

TERRIBLE AWFUL customer service - charged me a full month past when I cancelled service & the representatives I spoke to were SO rude and unhelpful!!! All messages said “ai-generated” but they told me they were real people so who knows? Terrible company, terrible service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - clearly just in it for a quick buck

Absolutely the worst and most worthless customer service ever. I was deceived by the salesman selling me a service that didn't work in my area. With a promise of refund, I ignorantly signed up for the service. After finding out 5 minutes into the huge mistake, I reconnected the old internet service. I called the next day to cancel and get my refund. The fun part:I was promised a refund in a few days. After about a week, I called again. More promises that I'd for sure get that refund in 9 or 10 days. I waited. I received a "You're getting a credit!" letter from them...but only because they tried to bill me AGAIN for my account which I'd closed by now. I wrote a letter of dispute, but they told me a partial refund had been given and the case was closed. It's been the third "case is closed" letter I've received since being promised my refund. I've since filed a letter of dispute with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the FCC. So, run.

I fell for a door salesman sell job about all the great promos AT&T had. I liked the rate the salesman was offering, that they would payoff my phones with the other company ETC. Turns out, the rate I was quoted ended up being higher and the phone payoff promised wasn't true. ATT hasn't sent me the highest of my phones payoff, $210.00, and now I not only pay the higher monthly bill, but Now pay off the $210.00 out of my pocket

I ordered a new esim number line and unlimited everything over a $100 monthly plan online being a new customer bringing my own device. I had put in my credit and debit card numbers on the application online. They looked at it overnight and in the morning I got a email saying we have canceled your entire order because we don't know if this is really you. They are the worst conspiring scammers with absolutely the lowest customer service. I took my business somewhere else.

I hear how serious this is for you, and I’ll help make that clear. Here’s a draft:“I’m beyond angry. In the past 30 days, AT&T took $266—twice—and $377 from my account. That’s over $900 gone. My family is struggling to eat because of this. Neither AT&T nor Chime can tell me where my money went. This is the reality of corporate greed—while we starve, they hold our money hostage. I’m demanding answers.”How does that feel? We can adjust if you need.

I went in to get my phone reactivated and was on the phone with a customer service gentleman who kept me on for over an hour. Gave me a new number tried to help me reactive the phone and told me it would take up to 2 hours. That was Saturday evening at 7 pm it is now Sunday morning around 9 am and still no service 13 hours later. Online my old number said it was activated. He told me I would have to call collections Monday to get me old number because they canceled service for late payment but the payment was due. I recognized after a little while that this gentleman was giving me the run around. My phone hasn’t been turned been hacked for years and they and no one else has done anything about it.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. The phone service is patchy in areas that are in the middle of the city. The wireless service didn't work at all and they would not take my wireless internet device back at the AT&T store. I had to drive to a post office and mail it back to them. I was told that my phone upgrade would be free, and I was charged in full for it after they rejected my trade in that was not damaged, due to the window of time they put on the return.I was paying over $300mo for two lines and phones that I was told would be free. I ended up paying them $1100 for a phone that was supposed to be free in order to have it unlocked so I could leave their terrible service.Every single person that I talked to on the phone had absolutely no authority to help me resolve the issue with the wireless internet service, or my account being charged for the free phone. Mind you, I was sold these items with assurity at an AT&T store and made absolute confirmation with the salesperson about the services and deal I was making on the phones. I don't care what kind of deal they are offering, run, don't walk, as far away from this company as you can get. They also charged me $6mo for payments made toward replacement phones, on top of phone insurance which actually does not cover the cost of the phone if damaged, and my $6mo over the course of 2yrs was non refundable. So they took my money and gave me exactly nothing in return for my payments being made toward an upgrade. You are better off buying your own unlocked phones from a verifiable secondhand source and going with Mint. I'm paying $30mo for two lines with unlimited use through them and I have a spare phone that AT&T rejected. I only wish that I had never bothered with them, because I could have a stack of brand new phones for the amount of money they ripped me off for per month, and could have been paying Mint the entire time for less money than AT&T's bullshit servicing fees that they stacked on top of their monthly rate.

We have had AT&T mobile service for 9 years. Kennett Twp in PA. Is a mobile desert. We got by. Last week our home router died. Took a few days for service - not by AT&T. We use our phones very little. We pay for a line for an IPad mini. We use it during all-to-frequent power outages. So, with no other internet, my wife fired it up to watch movies. After three days we get text messsges from AT&T: you are at 75% of your data plan. Huh? We never exceed anything! Next: you exceeded your plan! (You need to be punished, BAD!). We are slowing any data service to a crawl for one month! Take that! As you might guess, we are searching for a new phone company.

Worst decision ever. I was told that they would pay off the phone I currently had. That was in December. I was told I would get a notification for a gift card. April still haven’t received anything. I called and was placed on hold and no one ever came back to help me. Do not switch to ATT!
